Just purchased. Quick impression is that book is well research and incredibly well timed. As Merkel powers on and the rest of Europe stagnates, it's easy to think the primary language of the EU will be German within the decade. Will review again when I finish the book.

Dissapointing
Interesting perspective on Germanic History and its influence on world events. Being a scholar of such history I read with intrigue but sadly all I found was a rather skewed view. Her view seems to be that all Germans are warmongering bullies and simply forgets that Germany had some of the best culture, music art etc in the world and that much of this warmongering is a result of the leaders and events that took over. She skips over a vast amount of complex economic argument with simple, jingoistic politics and human behaviour. She forgets that Prussia was not Germany.I read with sadness how generalised her arguments are without rigorous research which is debased to the New York Times and the various diaries of those she claims were involved and had great influence. She dismisses the wide range of situational circumstances and geopolitical matters that influence the German state. The notion that the EU is a German idea well that may be so, but that donest mean that it isn't a good thing.Overall, an alternative but disappointing read.

America, friend or our worst enemy?
Not what I had been taught, but I am an 80yr old. This is a very interesting view of Europe and the German dominance and how they got there.I have lived and worked in Germany, I enjoy their company and life style, but everything I have read in this book hangs together. although the author omits the massive payments made to the survivors of the 3rd Reich who were displaced---- not all is said, but Interesting stuff never the less.

This was a revelation in an unexpected way
I agree with the other reviewers, this blows the lid off the EU if you had not already deduced that it is another German empire. Although I had independently concluded that the EU had returned to Bismarck's successful methodology of unification by stealth after the military misadvantures of two world wars, this book puts those chapters into context. It's actually quite shocking that the Nazis are just one chapter in a much longer story, and that story has been consistent since Bismarck's unification of the German states in 1870-71, the starting point of Sara Moore's narrative. The book is not an easy read, it's mostly about German politics and most of the players are not well known in the UK, even for someone like myself who studied European History for A Levels back in the 1970s. Perhaps one of the most shocking aspects of the narrative is the degree to which certain players in the United States played a role. Germany's traditional rivals in Europe have always been wary of her ambitions, but the American banks and politicians were played like fiddles. This book should be required reading for anyone entering international politics or commerce. They need to wise up.

Revelations about what makes Germany tick
Much of what was written by the author confirms what my own research has lead me to suspect; that the strings of the EU are being pulled by Germany, with the express purpose of destroying democracy in Europe, in order to remove any obstacles to their attaining supremacy.

The EU A NASTY NAZI GLOBALIST DICTATORSHIP
Sara Moore's Book THE FOURTH REICH With it's NAZI Insignia on its front Cover is π―% accurate in its Truthful description of the EU and it's NAZI routes which Sara goes into detail within its pages, an important addition to my Collection, I also recommend- HOW THE EU IS DESTROYING OUR WORLD by Daniel J Beddowes, AND INTO THE FIRE by Rodney Atkinson, & BREXIT: THE HEATH AND EEC CONSPIRACY
