Giving this 5 stars but that doesn't mean it's perfect or amazing! It just means I like it and that being said here what I like about it. They both have a nice scent that isn't heavy or overly strong. The scent doesn't stick around afterwards, doesn't clash with anything you might use , ie perfumes, cologne, hair products.. The shampoo bar has a nice lather. It also cleans the hair very nicely. It can dry my hair out a bit if I shampoo to frequently. I try to only shampoo 2-3 times weekly The conditioner is interesting. It seeps oil while sitting and waiting to be used on the next wash day . In fact it oozes oil see last photo of oil seepage in conditioner bar. None of the other condition bars from Kitch that I've purchased have ever done this so I'm not sure if it's just this bar or if this particular conditioner bar just does that due to the type of oil in it. It is rather oily when I use it, and I can't let it sit no more than a 1-2 minutes at most in my hair after shampooing before rinsing it out. The conditioner when used in this traditional way of applying after shampooing does take extra long to rinse it out. And if I should not get it rinsed well my curls go flat and my hair gets stingy and grundgy looking. What I sometimes do as an alternate way of washing, I'll wet my head and rub the conditioner on first, massage it into my hair and scalp well and let it sit on for 4 or 5 minutes then I use the shampoo bar on top of the conditioner then rinse it all out at once. This works like a all-in-one and it doesn't dry my hair out or leave it grundgy looking. It drenched my curls and helps it stay looking fuller longer. I've now been using this particular Kitch bar shampoo and conditioner for a couple months (they last a long time). As far as helping with hair loss or hair growth, well I am seeing less fall out. I have been getting new hair growth on a good sized balding patch on the side of my head near my temples, but I have also been doing other home remedies as well as managing my stress and eating a better diet. It could be a combination of all the things and I'll take it as a win. I do recommend this shampoo and conditioner combo. 🍀

I am in love with these at this point. The smell is AMAZING, the shampoo bar lathers perfectly and the conditioner bar makes my hair so soft. They are so light weight in my hair afterwards, it doesn’t feel weighed down at all.

Tried it! Ok, this product is as advertised. The shampoo soap is nice and easy to apply. Wet hands make a lather and apply to scalp and work down to the ends of the hair. The conditioner is more of an apply directly and then massage and let it set while you wash your body and shave. Then rinse the conditioner out well! Blow dry and it feels silky and soft. Very nice product.

This is a good shampoo, it made my hair soft, shiny and full but the oil that leaked out of the conditioner bar dripped down the shower wall and STAINED MY GROUT!! I can't get the oil stain out of the grout. I tried bleach, professional cleaner, I scrubbed and scrubbed for and I'm left with a dark stain on light grout. It's a good product BE CAREFUL to put the conditioner bar in a soap dish that will catch the excess oil!!!

I have slowly been trying to replace anything in plastic that I am able. Shampoo and conditioner is my current focus. I got this sampler to try some out and see how it functioned and how my hair felt after. I read a really good review of several different "bar" hair products and Kitsch was highly rated along with two others. She's on all the socials too. Ok - back to the point - The Rice Water set is a FOUR STAR product and something I will likely buy in full size. The shampoo lathers pretty good with patience and the conditioner is superb! It melts easily though so you gotta be sure you have a way to keep it away from the moisture and not in above 80 degree weather. Or put it in your soap holder or something if you are travelling. My hair is soft and clean after using any of the 4 options but the rice water are my favorite. The other set has a nice smell but the shampoo is very difficult to get going and the lather is not there. I know that clean shampoo doesn't foam as much. Very used to that but this is one just isn't for me. The conditioner is the same. It's super slippy on the tub floor believe me! I tried it on my legs for shaving and I was not safe in there afterwards! hahaha But, alas, it's not that softening for my hair and takes forever to soften up as well. There was a tip on the blogger site that mentioned adding harder conditioning bars to a pot of boiling water to get it going. No thanks. Way too much work when there are other products that are nice and easy.

The shampoo and conditioner bars leave my hair feeling really soft, silky, and super moisturized. I also love that they’re clean, vegan, and cruelty-free, plus made in the USA. And the no-plastic packaging is such a nice bonus. They smell really good too, which just makes the whole experience better. Overall, I’m really happy I tried these—they just work and feel like a really great product!

I love this conditioner and shampoo! I have damaged curly hair and I have tried so many different conditioners, and none of them work as well as this one for the price. Legit my hair looks so good and healthy! They're not expensive at all. The shampoo lasts forever for me but the conditioner doesn't last as long, but I use a ton of conditioner. I usually end up buying two conditioner bars a month but that's honestly not bad at all considering the price. most nicer conditioners are like 30-60 bucks these days, so shelling out ~20 a month is a nice deal

I purchased this set seven months ago and really fell in love with it. This shampoo and conditioner have finally restored the elusive natural shine to my color-treated "senior" hair, which is the result I had been trying new products on an ongoing basis trying to find without success for the past several years. I used to use Lush shampoo bars and loved them for a while, and have also used a few different solid conditioners, but it seemed everything that used to work stopped working for me a few years ago and my hair has been annoyingly dull, lacking the shine and body it once had. After the very first shampoo with the Kitsch bars, I noticed a change and my hair felt amazing...I adjusted the way I used the conditioner (just on hands first; then on hair; NOT directly on hair), and within a week my shine started to return. In another week, the fullness, body and shine of my hair at its best was restored. I have short hair and wash it between twice and three times a week, and I'm so delighted that I only just had to purchase my second shampoo bar as I was finally down to crumbs-- and my conditioner bar still has lots of life left as it has barely diminished! I do know to keep them out of the direct water and dry between washings to keep the bars from breaking up or melting to make them last, but seven months is quite a long time for a shampoo bar, and I'm sure I have months left on the conditioner. Pretty amazing value. The fragrance is light and lovely, and my hair feels soft, bouncy, and healthy again instead of dry, lifeless, and dull. Best of all, it's finally shiny!! I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners (and a few much pricier ones) that purported to restore shine and not one of them came close to what these have done! Thank you Kitsch!! I'm now a devoted fan!!

I’ve been really impressed with the Kitsch Rosemary & Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner Bars. I love the product, especially the conditioner, but it doesn't last as long as it is stated. I didn't think I would need to repurchase this soon. It lathers well, and the clump size is drastically reduced, even though I wash my hair twice at a time. It probably won't last 100 washes.

I ordered a rice water shampoo bar almost a year ago and finally finished it. Hair is so much fuller and healthier, and it’s perfect for traveling. Couldn’t wait to buy another and test out the conditioner. This is the first conditioner bar that actually works!! Love it. But seriously how do they make money when the bars last so long?! They don’t fall apart like all the others..

Am very impressed by how good my scalp n hair feels after just one wash!
