Ever since my grandmothers time, Ivory soap bars been known as the best laundry stain remover and it STILL beats anything that you will find on the market today.USING A VERY SOFT TOOTHBRUSH, SOME IVORY SOAP AND A LITTLE WARM WATER, ANY LAUNDRY STAIN YOU HAVE WILL COME OUTIvory was initially sold as laundry soap flakes. Sometime in the 1900s converted over to bar soap for baths. This product isvery useful for baby stains. I recently also rescued a coat using this product that I thought may have to be thrown away. My daughter got her new coat very dirty on the playground, which I initially believed I would probably have to replace. She had dragged her new winter coat along the asphalt surface and the cuffs were deeply stained. With a little elbow grease, a soft toothbrush, and some ivory soap, all of the oily asphalt stain got out of her brand new coat and it looks like new again.It took a few repeats to get all of the ground in stain out, but it did come out.There is a reason that people in my generation still use this as a laundry aid. I don’t know about using this as a body soap because it is pretty harsh.

Smaller bars, but the light scent is nice. It does not smell like the original Ivory Soap and the bars don’t float like they used to. I miss the Ivory Soap of the past, but this one is still gentle and cleans well.

Great for the price

I've been searching for Ivory bar soaps and came across them on Amazon. Its exactly as I remembered from childhood, it smells the same and brings back great memories. Authentic... If you're thinking of buying you should. It smells amazing, doesn't dry your skin, is great on sensitive skin and leaves you feeling squeaky clean... It also lathers well.

I love Ivory soap bars. Reminds me of my childhood. The smell brings back great memories. I still love it.
