I think these are solid paints. They come out of the bottle with a smooth consistency and don't really need any thinning. They have good coverage, and there's a decent amount of colors for a basic set. The set doesn't have metallics, so you might want to pick up the fantasy set if you want those as well. All in all I have to say I look forward to using these paints, and think they're great value for the pricepoint.

Great color variety and saturation. Adheres and covers well once item is primed. Low texture, dries quickly. Is thin enough to be layered several times. Okay durability- I sealed mine.

This makes a great entry point for people starting out with miniature painting. I bought this as a gift for my nephew and they’re working great for him. Most sets like this cost 2-3x as much so this is a no brainer for someone wanting to get started without breaking the bank.

Easy to use and good coverage. For the price, it's a great selection of colors for general hobby needs. The cap and neck design are the BEST I've found in dropper bottle style paints, and I've tried many brands. Virtually no build up of paint in the cap or on the neck of the bottle.

Not air brush ready, thick as molasses. Also seems most colors are flat even if the bottle doesn't say flat, disappointing that the colors that should be glossy aren't
