If you're on the fence about a thumb grip for your X100V or X100VI—just get this one. It fits perfectly, drastically improves handling, and looks stock. Only downside is the slightly loud branding, but the comfort and control boost is 100% worth it. Handling: 10/10 Massive improvement. Makes the X100V way more comfortable to hold, especially one-handed. Pairs perfectly with a front grip if you're using one. You get a more secure, confident grip without adding bulk. Fit: 10/10 Slides into the hot shoe snugly with no wiggle or movement. Everything stays firmly in place, and it doesn’t block any buttons or dials. The exposure compensation dial and screen remain fully accessible—smartly designed. Looks: 8/10 The grip blends in beautifully and looks like a factory part. Only knock is the oversized SmallRig logo—a bit much for the size of the item. Thankfully, it’s in white, so it doesn’t scream at you, but still could be subtler. Extras: 9/10 The included soft shutter button is a nice surprise, especially if you didn’t already have one. Matches Peak anchor buttons well and adds a little finesse when focusing. Overall: 9.5/10 Must-have add-on for X100V/X100VI shooters. The boost in comfort and control makes it well worth it, even with the branding nitpick.

Perfect for its intended purpose. Adds a nice brace for shooting both landscape and portrait on the X100VI. Fits really well in the hot shoe with tight tolerance. The silver matches the body color very well. The thumb grip is nice and provides an increased tactile feel. I would say this and weatherproofing your X100VI are the two most essential additions you could make to the camera.

Everything is well made and well designed, and the price is incredibly cheap for a bundle of both items at $15. The thumb grip fits the shape of the X100VI perfectly and doesn't obstruct anything. It has a silicone pad to prevent damage to the camera, and the ergonomic design is clearly well thought out. The soft release button is all metal, no defects, and looks good. Only minor complaint is the visible branding on the thumb grip could be more minimal, but it's not a big deal. Highly recommended.

I don’t usually write reviews this is actually my first one but I wanted to share my honest thoughts. The thumb grip and soft shutter button both fit perfectly on my X100VI. The quality feels great and it definitely improves grip. That said, I won’t be using this thumb grip. I switched to a shorter one instead because this one makes it uncomfortable to reach the AEL/AFL button, which I use for back-button focus. It kind of gets in the way. Also, the white writing on the thumb grip (Smallring) is a little too much for my taste it stands out more than I’d like and doesn’t match the clean aesthetic of the camera. It’s a good product, just not the right fit for my setup and style.

I purchased this product based on influencer reviews, and it did not disappoint. As a larger person with relatively big hands (not to be confused with someone who is larger but has small hands), I found the grip to be excellent. It makes the camera comfortable to hold during long shooting sessions and instills confidence when carrying the X100VI without a strap. Considering the value of a rare camera that costs thousands, this grip is definitely a plus! The design is impeccable, effectively serving its intended purpose. It truly combines form and function, fitting perfectly. An added bonus is the shutter button add-on, which is just icing on the cake. However, if your goal is to maintain the slim profile of the Fuji X100VI, this product may not be for you. While the X100VI was never pocketable, the grip makes it decidedly not pocketable. Generally, Smallrig products tend to be on the pricier side, but they are well-made, and I believe that the value of a quality product is worth the investment. Ultimately, the decision is yours.

I've never used a thumb grip before, but decided to get one for my X100VI. I ended up buying this grip because I've had many experiences with Smallrig and the fact this also came with a red shutter button so I didn't have to look elsewhere for one. Anyways, the thumb grip feels and looks high quality. It is comfortable and makes shooting the X100VI a better experience because of it. I also liked the fact that anywhere that touches the camera body is soft padded. See images. That's attention to detail. As for the shutter button, it has a rubber ring on it preinstalled and the color looks great. The red isn't glossy, more understated and looks great to me. I might end up switching the other red buttons I have to this. One complaint I do have is the branding on the grip. Maybe if it was smaller print and less eye catching. I may tape it over with black tape or take a black sharpie to it.

After purchasing my Fujifilm X100VI, I did research on the best accessories for the camera and a thumb grip constantly came up as mandatory. Amazon has a bunch of different options but I found the SmallRig had the best reviews. At first, I was kind of thrown off on how noticeable the logo is on the grip but in person, it isn't so bad. Installation is as easy as removing and sliding it into place. It is very sturdy and highly recommend. As for the soft shutter button, it is decent. Is it a nice touch to add to your camera? Sure. Would I purchase the shutter button on its own? Probably not. The reason is because it does wobble a bit and it isn't the highest of quality. Regardless, it is still decent and worth the extra 1-2$ it may be. Overall, highly recommend this thumb grip over others in the same price range. No issues for me.

el producto ha llegado en perfecto estado. Es lo que esperaba. Bien construido, se nota robusto y con ajuste perfecto. Le da un plus de agarre a esta cámara que es pequeña y pesa un poco, cosa que me gusta. El botón de disparo hay que ajustarlo bien porque es fácil que se suelte, pero tiene buen tamaño y le da un toque diferente a la cámara. Me habría gustado más en color bronce pero no lo había.
