Easy to wire, really useful in small WC room I didn't want a light switch in!

We've fitted this PIR into the ceiling of our downstairs W/C in our Victorian home. Our ceilings are lath & plaster, rather than modern plasterboard, so it's important that the little wings that hold the motion detector in place can reach behind the thicker plasterwork. The body of the sensor is long enough to reach, but the lip between the hole you need to create and the outer edge of the device is rather narrow, so there's little room for error.Setting up the sensor was easy with the included instructions, and we've now got the lights coming on at just the right levels, so that the open door to the hallways doesn't stop the lights turning on which quickly hurrying in to grab a spare loo roll!

Pir works great except cant change the light sensitivity, the screw just turns and turns and doesnt make any difference in what natural light there is before the light comes in.so light only works in pitch black. Very Disappointed.

Tried this after returning a couple of cheap similar products to a well known hardware store. Worked exactly as expected, with surprisingly clear instructions included. Only possible downside is it doesn't appear to have an override function, however as my guess is that was the erroneous part of my previous rejects, I'm not at all bothered about that.

Item received in good condition in a small branded box.I thought I would be able to install this myself however it is slightly above my pay and ability grade and so had to wait for an electrician to install for me which took him about 15 mins max.It was very straight forward for anybody who knows what they are doing with electrics.We have used in our hallway so that we have good lighting in this area and mainly for when we come home especially with hands full of shopping or kids just to make life easier and no messing about with switches.The pir fits snug in the ceiling and and the attachment is similar to a GU10 fitting and holds snug in place. The sensor on it is great and works really well and picks up movement easily. My partners shifts often start at 5:30am and she has found it very useful coming downstairs and the light then just comes on in the dark without her looking for switches, its been a real help.My only advice would be to have an electrician lined up to fit if you are unsure what you are doing to power this up.

I have decided to install a pir sensor and this one is based on my liking because it has a 360 degree infrared view and also a feature that I always wanted to have which is the adjustable timer.The installation process was straightforward and as I remember it took less than 10 minutes and the sensors started monitoring my space right away(which is about 30 square meters). Also something that I really appreciate is that it doesn't take too much space on the ceiling so I literally barely notice it when I am passing by and so far the functionality of it is as it should and it never disappointed in terms of not recognizing the movement.This is a good addition to our home and also it saves a lot of electricity because I don't have to switch on and off the lights manually because this is the purpose of this sensor and I can say that I am satisfied with its performance.

As I remember it took me around five minutes to install this sensor and ever since it is on it works as I have expected.The good part about having this product is the fact that I don't have to worry about switching over the light anymore because this is the whole purpose of this sensor and so far since it is installed it didn't disappoint in any way and I am happy with its functionality.I have nothing to complain about this product and it works as it should.
