AM5 Contact Sealing Frame Ryzen 7000 CPU

Nice simple alternative to the board oem frame. Good quality piece feels solid when you take it out the box. Looks well made but it’s under a AIO so you don’t see it once it’s installed. First time using one and first time building a AM5 system so I had nothing to compare it to temperature cooling wise from looking online I think maybe 1or 2 degrees C cooler difference is what’s to be expected but I had no previous temps to go off for my own comparison. It does aid with thermal paste application but as always you still need to be careful to not spread it everywhere over the board and in the cut outs on the lid. Overall it was £20 I think. I’m told it’s a vital bit of kit for the Intel CPU’s.

Their products have always been highly rated by enthusiasts and their Thermal Grizzly is some of the best rated thermal paste in the industry.The Thermal Grizzly AM5 Contact Sealing Frame is primarily used alongside Liquid-Metal based thermal pastes (This paste is liquid at room temperature and can very easily fry your CPU if not applied properly) to ensure that no liquid-metal is able to transfer to the motherboard. However, I have used the sealing frame alongside regular metal-based thermal paste (Thermal Grizzly to be precise!) and it has performed very well.It has helped improve contact of the AIO Cooler pump, and has resulted in a -3c temperature drop at max load compared to a stock CPU mounting bracket. Pretty impressive for a single piece of kit!Very easy to install, and comes with a silicone layer that sits comfortably inside the Sealing Frame to further protect any spillages from spreading past the plate. You can decide not to apply the silicone layer inside, but I would highly recommend it.Overall, very happy with the purchase and the difference it has made. It looks awesome too!

It works perfectly on my ROG Strix 870I Gaming Wifi with 9950X3D and great cooling performance. Initially i made a mistake, but I corrected it and since then it is very stable..Though many reviews are saying about 7000 series, it works perfectly with 9000 series...Thermal paste quality is also great.. It fits perfectly.. Great prpduct..

Absolutely exceptional product, it fits like a glove. Not just the frame but the gasket too. The included paste works brilliant too, just a shame it did not come with a spreader for the paste to ensure max coverage of the ihs.

Came quickly , works as intended and dropped my CPU temps.

Für mich ein kleines, aber extrem sinnvolles Upgrade für diese CPU.Montage: Das Anbringen ist dank der präzisen Passform absolut einfach und unkompliziert. Der Rahmen passt perfekt auf den Sockel und umschließt den Prozessor haargenau.Funktion: Er dichtet die markanten Zwischenräume des AM5-Heatspreaders perfekt ab. Bei einer High-End-CPU wie dem 9800X3D läuft so keine überschüssige Wärmeleitpaste mehr in die Ecken, was das Reinigen beim nächsten Kühlerwechsel enorm erleichtert. Zudem sorgt er für einen optimalen, gleichmäßigen Anpressdruck des CPU-Kühlers.Fazit: Ein kleines Teil mit großer Wirkung. Schützt die wertvolle CPU, erleichtert die Wartung und lässt sich kinderleicht montieren. Eine klare Empfehlung für jeden AM5-Builder!

付属のパッキンを使用すれば液体金属グリスにも対応します。また他の方が仰っていた通り他社のコンタクトフレームに比べてロープロファイルなため、am5純銅グリスガード金具を2枚追加で噛ませる事が可能です(意味が有るかはさておき)

Love this product the fit is just right and the additional gasket helps me be sure if I end up going with liquid metal i won't get any shorts in the future.The finish on the product is premium, and coming from the theralright version I do again appreciate the gasket for peace of mind and availability to use the other TIM if I ever get to it.GREAT PRODUCT!

I installed the Thermal Grizzly AM5 Contact Frame on my Ryzen 9 7900X3D system with a Corsair H150i AIO and Arctic MX-6 thermal paste, and the results were better than expected.Before the upgrade, my CPU would peak at around 73°C during OCCT stress testing.
