Q: I want to use these at the side of my log burner for decoration could they catch fire as the burner gets very hot

I use mine for decoration purposes only..I think they possibly would burn if they were beside a hot burner

Q: Hi can these be cut to any length I have a large area to cover (floor to ceiling) either side of fire but the depth I have is only 6cm ?

I think they probably could be cut but the average length is about 6 inches..I purchased them to put into my fireplace as a decorative peace just to block out the hole.

I don't know if your question is in centimetres or inches so, as I live in the INCH world I shall reply in inches: I have used one box in the following space: 7 inches high x 30 inches wide x 6 inches deep. They are really attractive and are wearing very well (indoors).

No not silver ... brown wood colour
