Another excellent story from this author in this series of books. I loved all of the characters and the story line. It is well written and entertaining

It's a tragic love story.A tortured hero Kai who is hard to stomach at times. He is a killing machine who has no remorse, and it's understandable why he has s that way until Nera shows him affection and some care which all starts from the night she saves him.Darkest Sins is a saga. There are tender moments between Kai and Nera. He is her protector and she is the one to heal him. It's a long book and has a difficult subject and it takes time to unravel. This book is deep and the darkest from the series and can be emotional draining for the reader but is very well written.

Even though every book is set up in the same world, you definitely don't ever feel like you miss anything if it's been a while.Nera has a Stalker, a handsome Stalker who will never allow any harm to come to her, ever since she saved his life. Kai has been obsessed with Nera since she saved him, but he's not good, so he stays in the shadows, keeping her safe, until the shadows are no longer enough.I absolutely loved this book, I really enjoyed how we saw their entire relationship over a span of years and saw how it came to be. I always recommend this series and this book is such a good addition!

I liked how it made me feel like I can relate to the (anti/awkward) social aspect and not knowing who to trust when people act like they are your friends yet contradict that and I like how it activated my imagination from having these as foundations.I did not like how it was quite short in some parts, like when Kai was in captivity in Mexico but also understandable why not.Also, I found it hard to start because of the gap between the last book and waiting for this one to come out so I kind of forgot about the other characters which was hard to follow and start but after a while I remembered why I loved this book series. I wish there were (mini) recaps as I read in order rather than standalone most of the time, especially with these.I would recommend it to those like me, dark and grey, dark sense of humour, in love with love, a bit of a thrill, and all about family and loyalty of those blood and created.

Nera and Kai so good!I have loved all of these books. I’m sad I’m going to have to wait until the next release, I’ve binged these all in about 5 days. They were so easy to read, with good plot and characters.The MMC Kai only believes he’s made for one thing. To be a hitman. He can’t do ‘normal’ but when he crosses the FMC Nera there is so much light shining from her that she can’t help but pull him from his dark and for once in his life show him he means something as a person over more than what he was trained to be.4⭐️2🌶️

Neva Altaj has a wonderful gift of drawing you into stories filled with heart wrenching emotion where she makes you totally engaged and steeped in the storyline. This one is yet another where previous strings are hooked in. Only one little niggle is that how did Kai recover from YEARS of torture and abuse in such a short time both mentally and physically to come back and be so effective a lover and protector. Also how did Nera so easily forgive the situation of her father’s demise. Still one of the best series I have read and glad there is at least one more to go.

Wow another fab book from Neva I absolutely loved this book. It kept me captivated from the first page and had me laughing at some of the things Kai's buddies got up to. Nera and Kai were a match I loved the storyline and their daughter was so cute. Wish you had done a bonus scene into the future. ❤️

I have to admit to breaks throughout this tale. I just loved him for all his sins too even for being brutalised to become who he did but still the true depth of his character came through and melted hearts. I loved the psycho boys relationships too crack me up!! Haha great read
