So first off, I was most worried if my firearm would fit, even with listed dimensions. I have been bit on this before with other products. What you see in the photo, fitting perfectly I might add, is a Sig Sauer P220 Elite .45 acp. Darn near 8 inches long with beaver tail. It fit with room to spare for at LEAST 4 spare magazines or various other items. My second concern was would it fit nicely underneath the driver seat of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It DOES! I wanted this safe to put my firearm when I make visits to places that do not allow firearms inside, such as the hospitals. Unfortunately with my boys, we seem to be there quite a bit. So this met my big 2 requirements. The setup is truly simplistic. Even if you have no experience with these types of safes. Install batteries, push a setup button, push 1, push in your 6 digit code. Done! Be sure to keep your keys separate and NOT in the safe. You will need them if the batteries go dead on you! The safe seems very sturdy, but I have no plans to test that theory. Lol. The buttons give off a nice soft blue light after the first button is pushed. Perfect for entering the code at night, should you need your firearm. There is also a soft blue light inside the safe when you open it. Inside there is a nice soft material to keep your firearm from being scratched. It does NOT compress the firearm between two sides of foam. So it will NOT keep your firearm from bouncing around inside. However, I don’t see why you couldn’t cut your own foam if you desired. Long story short, for the price of this safe, it’s functionality, sizing, durability, it is a no brainer. It is the best safe of this type that I have ever owned. Buy it!

This review is for the the safe without the fingerprint sensor. This is a reasonably priced and nice, easy to use safe. It is made of substantial steel and is easy to set it up The pop up feature lid lifter is a good idea. When you unlock the safe with the combination the lid automatically opens, and a blue LED light shines to help you see your firearm. Same thing when you use the key to open it. It is not overly bright and probably will not affect your night vision. It has a four digit key set and you have to make your combination a six digit string of numbers It is large enough to hold a full size 1911 and would hold another micro pistol or revolver in addition. It will keep your kids or their friends from getting your gun and using it. And, as usual Amazon, delivered it quickly.Four months after I bought it I had a problem with the lift up lid function. The Amazon return window was closed to me so I sent an email describing the problem to the company and had a reply back from the company within four hours. They wanted me to do a short video showing the problem, which I did and sent it off to the company. Their next email described what they would to do to make it right. They took care of me and did the right thing. I now have a locking safe that works correctly. I am very happy with the gun safe and the customer service of the AweSafe company. Their customer service has been spectacular .

Well made and easy instructions to activate the code and fingerprint biometric. A good buy and value.

I've had trouble with other brands so I was relieved that this one works. And it does exactly what I need it to do. I'm happy with it. To anyone who wants to mount the box, be careful not to bolt it down too tight, it cause the box to be slightly unlevel and the lid won't pop open, you have to make sure it's perfect level, and it'll work fine. So don't give up on it if this happens to you, just slightly loosing the screw a little and test it again till the lid pops up. And it works great!

I bought this lock box for one purpose: to keep little fingers away from my fully-loaded, one-in-the-chamber defense firearm, while still providing somewhat easy and convenient access. It fits my needs perfectly. I was most surprised by its weight: the box appears to be sturdy and solid. I don't trust biometrics, and it's getting more and more difficult to find reasonably priced options without them, so I was pleased to come across this. IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO PREVENT THEFT, LOOK ELSEWHERE. This box is NOT a safe, as several reviews have already pointed out, no matter what the name or description says. What it IS is a convenient, somewhat secure storage solution with relatively quick access, and it's EXACTLY what I was looking for.

I really wanted to love this safe! I had it for more than a year and it was doing its job, but then one day I decide to grab the safe from under my bed and it falls of my hands backwards onto the floor(less than 1 foot fall) and the safe just simply opens. Retested it and it just opens if you slam the front and let it fall backwards. This was suppose to protect the kids at home. Still better than no safe, but it really sucks to have to deal with this.

My wife got me this safe as a gift. I have had it for nearly 2 years and it works great. It will fit 2 glocks. It even fits in my nightstand drawer.I liked it so much, I have purchased a second for my truck!
