Can hardwire by cutting the cord
They are small/thin and are pretty bright. I used all 6 in a 3 car garage - and while it isn't super-bright, it is acceptable replacement for the 2 x 2x4ft fluorescents they replaced. As for the hardwire option, the post on here that there are electronics in the switch, and as such you can't hardwire them is FALSE. See the attached photo. It's a simple switch on only 1 of the lines. So cut off the wire and the switch, strip it back, and hardwire it. Works great. Also, they gave me a bunch of extra mounting clips/hardware bags - which was a nice touch, just in case. I only used 3 clips per light. Do note that they are a very bright white (blue-ish), so typically that is not used indoors.

Nice lights poor quality clips to hold them in place.
Very happy with the amount of light they give off. Pre-drill your holes for the clips as the heads tear out of the screws if it is going into something hard. Be careful with the clips as they will bend easily out of shape. I only daisy chained two together the rest all used separately. If I had a need for more lighting I would buy more of these.UPDATE: The clips that bed so easy allow the lights to fall off the ceiling if bumped and or even fall off by themselves.I have had to zip tie them up to keep them from falling.UPDATE 2: Ordered a second set and the issue with the clips and screws continues. I wrote to customer support with no response.

Teamwork makes the dream work!
Don't be turned off by the 'mini' label. I installed 18 of these on my 24x24 garage ceiling (11' height) in an even pattern creating nearly 40k lumens. I am beyond happy with the end result. The entire garage is lit up like a professional shop. No more spot lighting while working on my motorcycle, cars etc. All my dude friends are jealous.Installation was extremely simple. I changed 2, switched, single bulb fixtures to outlets and ran the linkable lights in series from there. No delay at all when turned on. No flickering. Just instant, glorious, professional quality shop lighting.

I love the light and the look of these lights
These are an incredible value - WITH ONE BIG EXCEPTION. I installed in my garage. I love the light and the look of these lights. HOWEVER - they created enough RF interference that my garage door opener would no longer work. Turn off lights - works great. Turn on lights - nothing with opener works. I had to take them down and use somewhere else instead.

Very happy
Wrote this in answer to a specific question, but thought it might be useful as a reviewThe package comes with 3 different type of connectors, 6 of each type. There is an ‘inline’ connector. This is about 1” long and allows you to connect 2 lights end-to-end to make a *fairly seamless * 8’ strip. Connect 3 and you have 12’ and so on. These connectors are not visible and add NO length to the overall. The 2nd connector is 8”. You will lose about 1” plugging into a lamp so this allows 2 lamps to “daisy-chain” with about 6” between them. Useful if you want to set 1 lamp at a right angle to another (think corner of a room)The 3rd connector is 5’ long and has a standard (US) power plug at 1 end and an on/off switch I’m the middle.I have them in a workshop and used a mix of each type. The first connector is the 5’ power plug that lights the first lamp. Then there is a 1” connector to another lamp giving me an 8 ‘ run. Next is an 8” that lets me turn 90 degrees and head down a wall. The whole thing is very well done, easy to install and can work a 6 separate lights, a 24’ strip (6 lamps @ 4’ ) or any combo and u get emote than enough connectors. That said I did buy a 2 pack of “long” connectors which let me daisy-chain with about 4’ between. If your handy, you could cut the end off 2 of the power connectors (my type 3), tie them together and have an (almost) 10’ connector.

Quality light output and good construction; radiate RF noise
I purchased these to replace fluorescent T8 6500K (natural daylight) tube lamps in my garage. Light quality, lumen output and color temperature, are comparable to the 32W fluorescent lamps. The newer 'eco-friendly' fluorescent tubes suffer from lower life expectancy and low light output when operating at lower temperatures; they also use more electricity. These new T5 LEDs are supplied with hardware, are easy to mount, and look better than the hanging fluorescent fixtures. The aluminum body runs warm to the touch. I was pleased with the replacement but disappointed that they radiate RF energy that substantially interferes with radio reception. A buzzing can be heard on my FM radio that was not previously present--switching the lights off eliminates the interference. If not for this issue, I'd have rated 5 stars given their reasonable price and quality light output.

Good product, easy install, cannot link 20, max 12
Install is super simple. Love the way they mount. Snap a chalk line, screw in the clips and boom, done. Description says you can link 20.... untrue. On the 14th one, I saw a voltage drop that started making the lights flicker and the whole string dim. I re-made my path with 2 circuits of 12 ea.... No issues so far. Even at 12 per, the connecting wires are getting pretty warm.... Not terrible, but not as described. I'm totally happy with my purchase. Installed the 24 in my garage / workshop and even during daylight they're a nice even brightness.

great value and easy to set up.
only used two of the six light bars above my workbench about 48 inches above. Very bright daylight color temp and easy to install the clips. Used shorter ones on hand versus the long ones in kit in basement floor joists. Been a long time that I was that happily surprised at how well it worked. Expected to use at least 4 of the six lighting bars to equate to old shop lights. With bifocal glasses the brighter the light the better bifocals work. Ask your optometrist how bright lights help out. Very satisfied and will buy again. Had a screw base LED light in other shop area and think with two of these and use the other two somewhere else these work at maybe 1/2 price that I paid for just using the screw in type in only one area. Buy these and even at full price they are worth it.
