It's chalk. Larger diameter than most and a little bit dustier to handle. It's a decent value overall.

Fuel laced chalk/ Toxic chalk
I used to order these. My last package, the chalk was laced with fuel. I thought it was a one box issue. I trew it away instead of returning and ordered another box. Same issue. I threw that one away and just ordered a different brand. I wanted a non toxic chalk and this was not it.

Needs to be more smooth
Writes ok, but is a little too stiff, tough and breaks too easy. They need to make them a little more soft, easier and smooth.
