My internet is FIOS with 2gig service, so I needed something more than a gigabit switch. I also have a NAS, and wanted to see if I could combine the 2 NAS ports to get a little more speed out of the NAS gigabit ports. Overall I'm very happy with this switch since it's worked great without any problems, and properly detects connection speeds and doesn't seem to be picky about cable type or length. I'm getting full rated speeds, which is what I expected and what I got.
