They're decent bobby pins, but some of them do seem to loosen after use.. and one snapped completely in half at the bend when I tried to use it. Maybe I just got an odd pack though.

I wanted to say they're too think, but they're not. They might be fine for some, but they couldn't hold my think curly hair. And they can definitely not hold each other (to lock them and the hair in place)

Not very strong or tight; I think they're reliable if you "criss-cross" two pins. In retrospect, I'd rather have a more expensive bobby pin that had more grip.
