Why did you choose this product over others?: DESIGN AND FUNCTION

Needed a way to get external screens onto my Microsoft Surface Book. Bought the MS Surface Dock which has a pair of USB C connectors for use with Displays and bought a USB C to HDMI Adapter and a USB C to VGA Adapter (this item). Both work great and for the price are a great low-cost solution.

It looks great and not cheap, it does the job just fine - works straight out of the box. Good picture. No issues at all. I've always had a great experience with Benfei products and the price is excellent as well compared to similar adapters.

Prompt delivery. This is a quality made product. Plugged it into my chromebook USB-C and worked straight away. Recommended. Will certainly be making other purchases from this brand.

Given VGAs somewhat archaic status it might seem strange to pair this with a modern MacBook M1 pro. That being said my 2nd monitor has 2 inputs, one hdmi and 1 vga. My pc sits in the hdmi slot and messing about to unplug that is too much of a fuss. This works perfectly. No lag, good picture. Even tho iTunes/movies complains about copy protection and not being hdcp videos still play on it. For the price it was well worth it.
