This is a mild herbal tea. It doesn’t really have any additives, just the longest list of herbs I’ve seen in a tea for a long time! With proper herbal teas like these (and not the stuff you get in supermarkets), they generally are all mild and slightly earthy/woody tasting, like marshmallow leaf, mullein leaf etc. This does have an ever so slightly sweet aftertaste and that’s down to the licorice. You can’t taste the licorice too much, it just adds the slight sweetness.For only 30 bags I do feel this tea is somewhat on the dear side but I’m happy to support my liver wherever possible.If you’re looking for bags of flavour this is not the tea for you. If you are used to proper herbal tea that’s subtle and earthy or woody, then you’ll enjoy this.
