Perfection.
Chef/muralist here A simple pencil is a key component to chefs and artist. They lay the ground work and outline for everything we do. I've been a paperweight fan for many years but the mechanics of this pencil are great, complaints about the eraser are ridiculous. If you leave an eraser in any area for a long time it dries out. These pencils work in the kitchen (fits snug and grips to me hat when behind ear, refillable qith great mechanics) when I'm working on murals, gives a broad tough and workable medium to do outlines. All around the most versitile useful pencil I've ever used. Will not go back to any other. Thanks zebra.

Used to get these in middle school
I had been looking for this brand for so long! We had a little "gumball" type machine at my middle school but it dispensed pencils for a quarter and they were NFL themed mechanical pencils. When it eventually broke after using it for a couple years i tried to get another but it had been replaced with standard wood pencils... Years later, I am now 24 and found this recommended on amazon for back to school and its the same brand! I use them now for DND and they're great, sturdy, and I am so glad I found them. A useful piece of nostalgia is awesome!

My favorite disposable mechanicals
These are my favorite pencils for taking with you, the perfect blend of form and function. They're short enough to fit in your pocket, but long enough to be held normally. The 0.7 mm lead doesn't break too easily, but is soft enough to write well on various types of paper. They're nice enough you won't feel like you're skimping, but cheap enough you don't need to worry about losing or giving one away.

Great pencils
I use these because they fit perfectly in a military flight suit pencil pocket

Short enough to stay hidden in the pocket protector
These pencils are great if you need to have cheap pencils on hand on your pocket protector. They are short and do not stick out. I find I get beat up for my lunch money less often. OK I am joking but it is nice not to have them sticking out. They are cheap and they work. The erasers do eventually get rock hard, do not erase, and break off when you try to make them work. But you usually use up the lead or lose them before this happens. The lead itself is very good, they never have issues of jamming up or not advancing.

Great idea!
Uses 0.07mm mechanical lead and looks exactly like a pencil for those of you taking standardized tests with teachers who won't let you sue mechanicals. Also has a full-sized eraser, not one of the tiny ones so common in other mechanical pencils. It looks, feels, writes, erases, and doesn't roll away just like its wooden counterpart, but never needs sharpening. The one downside to this item is that the eraser tends to come off pretty easily in a bookbag, and the paint gets scratched VERY easily in a pocket. I like to use a little pen case anyway for pens, pencils, chalk, and USB drives, but be a little gentler with these. They don't break, but if the eraser splits or disappears, the only fix is to take one from somewhere else. You can rip them off a real #2 pencil and hollow out the bottom though.Summary: YES! Love the product, just keep it in a backpack pencil pocket or pencil case.

These are a great alternative to more expensive mechanicals..
I have been buying and using these for more than a year. Now that I found them at this high quantity and low price I like them even more. Good value at $5 to $6.True, they are rather delicate. The metal ferule is easy to smash out of shape. And the eraser doubles as the cap, so when you wear it out, the cap is useless. But at this price point, treating them as a disposable item is cheaper than buying replacement erasers or buying more expensive pencils. With enough use, the printed color wears off, exposing the bare plastic beneath. This gives them character, especially if you have a colored design on light colored plastic.Later, I found some even CHEAPER Chines mechanical pencils with pocket CLIPS. I bought them just for the clips. The pencils are junk. But now I have real neat techy looking pencils that nobody else has. These pencils are about 5" long. I found an 8-pack at a Dollar store that are 6" long. I bought a pack to have more interesting designs and some extra erasers.-Chris

Why is this the best pencil for a child!
These are great pencils. Most have a clip on them and kiddos always play with the clip and it makes noise. These are just smooth so there isn’t anything for a child to “ mess” with or get distracted by. They are strong for a mechanical pencil. Which they came in more colors. Great buy!

I LOVE these. Best pencils... so many reasons!
Ok, so they are a bit pricey. Totally worth it, here's why:..lightweight..always same length (mechanical pencil), and so you always have the same sturdy feel..The 0.07 mm lead allows for comfortable and smooth writing/printing..great for me as my writing hand has arthritis...having the same length and lightweight pencil makes it easier and predictable to use (doesn't hurt when a regular pencil is short and I don't have trouble flipping the pencil back and forth to the eraser when the pencil is long)..looks and feels like a pencil..professional looking..I use for college math and engineering plus moreDrawbacks?..The eraser (at least for me) is used more quickly than the supplied pencil lead, and since the eraser is the cap for the pencil lead, when it's gone I end up having to throw the pencils out early.I used to be able to get these at a dollar store chain and bought a (much smaller) pack or two on every visit...unfortunately they disappeared following the start of the pandemic...so while a bit pricier, I am very happy that I found them here!See attached pic for size comparison to an 8x11 piece of paper and a typically sized pen.

Simple cheap mechanical pencils
They work, they aren't expensive so losing one isn't a big deal. Use these lot, only thing missing is a clip so it would stay on/in a clipboard.
