Whoa. What's this?
"What this is, my friend..." That's typically the start of the conversation when others sees it on the court. I say it's a new pickleball called PX-40."That's a bright ball. Cool.""Let's play. 0-0-2." Tok. Tok. Bang. Bang. "Out!"."Dang. That's a solid ball. It's quite poppy. Okay. 1-0-2." Tok. Tok. Tok. Slice. Cut. Slice. Cut. Tok. Tok. Tok. Tok. Tok. Tok. Slice. Tok. Flick. Bang. "Out!"."Whoa. Good rally guys. Great point!"15 minutes later, after the game. "So, what do you think guys?""I love this ball. The flight is consistent. It's weird. Sometimes it feels heavy. Sometimes it's not. You want it to pop off your paddle, it's effortless. You want to guide it when dinking, point it to the spot. It feels it connects well with the paddle. Where did you get it, Amazon?""Yep. Here! Take this new one and have fun.""Oh, man. Thanks. Let's play 1 more game.""Let's go!"

Never thought I’d switch from Franklin balls
My friend brought these to the court, and after playing with them, I had to buy. I would never thought I would switch from the Franklin or Selkirk balls. I play pickleball competitively so I have played with most brands out there. First thing you notice straight out of the box is the visibility of these balls. When playing on the court it seems like the balls are litterly glowing which makes connecting with the sweet spot of your paddle a lot easier, everyone on the court also agreed and were mentioning the visibility. A lot of companies call their balls seamless but usually have a slight seam. These balls have no seam at all which makes the bounces and hits off the paddle extremely consistent. It’s been about three weeks with these balls and I’ve only gone through one but that’s because I gave one to my friend, they are very durable and keep their shape. I feel like a lot of people just automatically assume that Franklin is the best and don’t give other balls a chance, but I’m glad I came across these because I believe this company has come out with a ball better than the rest. I usually don’t leave reviews but I love pickleball so I had to leave one here.

Fast
Played with them few times still holding up. A lot of zip on them when first use, holds up well.

Very poor bounce
No the greatest ball.

Decent performance, but not one piece
I compared this ball to a few others I have on hand...it performed somewhere in the middle. I included a few other balls so you can see the difference on the hole patterns...included in the photo (L to R): PX40, Selkirk Pro S1, Joola Heleus & Superiornet (which is a run of the mill ball). A few observations:*I was able to take a photo of the seam, which was rather apparent....and stood out more than any other ball. It's odd that they make the claim it's a one piece ball.*Bounce was similar to the Selkirk and Joola...but playability wasn't quite the same.*I found that the the holes on the PX40 were a bit rough. In fact, rougher than any other ball I've ever used. Maybe I got a bad batch, but this was disappointing.I debated between 3 and 4 stars....these are definitely not perfect pickleballs. I do feel that these are ultimately a bit above average so I am going with 4 stars. If these have a price drop or go on sale, I can recommend them.

Great Quality and very high visibility
Very happy that I Purchased these outdoor pickleballs. So far they’ve held up and taken quite a beating. I was surprised to see how well they held their form and stayed round. I also like the bright color neon green helps when playing at night.

Excellent pickleballs but worth the extra money?
My family and I (5 of us total) play a lot of pickleball and some of us (including me) have played in some tournaments. We all have our own paddles, balls, pickleball bags, and other gear and even our own portable net. So, I am always looking for something to give me an extra edge in playing. I have used a variety of pickleballs. The only difference I have ever noticed in the pickleballs we have used are the pickleballs designed for indoor use versus the ones designed for outdoor use. So, I was excited to try these out to see if they would make a difference. These pickleballs are designed for outdoor use, and the first time I played recreationally with these I was not able to tell a real difference in the performance of these versus other outdoor pickleballs. But then I took these to my local racquet club for the pickleball league night where we have very competitive players. There were 8 of us playing and we used both the pickleballs supplied by the club and my new pickleballs. In the beginning, I said nothing about my pickleballs and just pulled them out and started playing with them. Within the first 30 minutes, everyone was picking up these pickleballs to play with over the club's pickleballs, although we all played with both depending on whether mine had rolled too far away A few of the players commented "yours are better" more than once. By the end of the night, I asked what everyone thought and they all agreed that the overall performance was better with my pickleballs. In addition to added performance in competitive play, these pickleballs are very well made and durable. The truly seamless construction is a huge plus for durability, so I imagine these will last much longer than those constructed with a seam. I also like the bright neon color of these because they are easy to see while in play and easier to find when one goes flying or rolling outside the court area. But does all of this make enough of a difference to pay the extra money for these? If you are a truly competitive pickleball player, then yes. But if you are a beginner or just like to play recreationally, then I personally don't think you should spend the extra money on these.
