amazing quality with intelligent features for a very low price!!!
It took me a while to search for a good pedal switcher with a reasonable price and I'm glad i found the PXL live. This switcher is amazingly quite and it is built like a tank (you can really tell by just holding it)! once you figure out how to use it everything goes really smooth and easy from programming to gigging! the manual is quite short but you'll get more information in youtube - Henning Pauly (EytschPi42) did a very helpful video manual for this one.I'm really glad Joyo incorporated a midi port in this pedal coz this is really a huge thing for me. I don't have to step on or bend over to change my delay settings or delay type, PXL live does it for me now. This comes as well with 2 trigger ports so I am using one trigger to switch my amp channel and the other one to on/off the boost switch of my overdrive pedal instead of stepping directly to it.If you get what you paid for - then, this is the case where you get twice more than you paid for.=)

Value for money and very easy to setup
I got this looper after being tiered switching from one effect to another all the time. It’s working great and very easy to setup. There are better products out there but the price will not near the price of this looper.

Too Good To Be True
The media could not be loaded. This Joyo PXL Live had everything that I wanted (eight programmable loops, MIDI control, quiet switching, small footprint, and an unbelievably low price), but turned out to be too good to be true. I had the exact same problem as the reviewer who goes by the name joesuspense. Specifically, making a change to a MIDI preset would corrupt MIDI commands in other, unrelated banks. This happens silently, so you might never know that anything was wrong until you get up on stage and discover at the worst possible moment that a preset doesn't work properly.Like joesuspense, I contacted Joyo for help. It took four days for them to even respond to my first email. After I sent more information, the next response from them took two weeks. I also made two videos (one of which is attached to this review) showing exactly how to reproduce the problem. Joyo responded that the videos had been submitted to their engineers. Over three weeks later, I have still received no information from Joyo's engineers.Rather than continuing to wait for Joyo's customer support, I returned the product for a refund. Luckily, I was still within the 30-day return window even after wasting a couple of weeks waiting for Joyo to offer a solution. Now, I have replaced this product with a Switch Doctor and a Loop Expander. It is a shame that the Joyo turned out to be a piece of junk. I liked its smaller footprint on my board and it cost considerably less than the Decibel 11 products that I am now using, but what use is anything on your board if you cannot rely on it?

or best switcher, but it also is relatively inexpensive
It's not the biggest, or best switcher, but it also is relatively inexpensive, and extremely powerful for the price range. You can set 4-effect at a time loops to 2 outputs, so if you have mods and delays, you can route those in the 2nd loop and send it to the effects loop out of your amp, and all your front end effects can still route out to the input of the amp.It triggers your amp channel switches too, so if you like your distortions to mix with your amp's drive channel, you can set the trigger to fire off in the banks, too.It has 8 banks with 4 different patches per bank stored, which is 32 total different mixes you can have, and the obvious power of the switcher is that between these, your pedal switching is dramatically reduced while simultaneously giving you options you otherwise aren't able to have. There are definitely switchers that have these capabilities and more (specifically more banks and send/returns), but this is a great start

Easy to program. Gets the job done.
The pedal switcher works fine so far. Easy to program and seems robust. I haven’t yet tried the midi port so nothing to report yet (I know some users reported data corruption issues).

The best pedal switcher
Awesome, 8 loops plus midi and 2 channel amp swithching. small print, and inexpensive, there's nothing in the market that gets close to this at this price. Wish the jacks were sturdier.Edit/Update Nov 2015Still working great, no failures or problems. I gig/rehearse regularly (at least 3x a week), so it is been used, and again, smooth sailing so far. Roland just came out with an awesome switcher (Boss ES8) that looks great and is even more powerful than the PXL, but it is 3x as expensive ($700), and bigger. So, still the Joyo rules.

Wonderful product for my pedal board
Wonderful product for my pedal board. I wish it had the ability to copy one patch to another location. Navigating the menus is not too tough. Find the videos on youtube...so much better than the manual.
