Review for OVAL SIGNATURE seat. I’ve had this toilet seat for two years now, and it still works perfectly. The soft-close mechanism hasn't skipped a beat or become loose, and the finish looks as clean as the day I bought it. I purchased another one this year (2026) for my other toilet. I’ve noticed a fair few reviews complaining that it’s difficult or frustrating to fit, but honestly, they must be doing it wrong. It took me less than 10 minutes total to get the old seat completely off and have this new one securely fitted. The instructions are clear, the fittings are straightforward, and everything lines up exactly as it should if you take a second to look at it. If you're on the fence because of people struggling with the installation, don't worry about it. It’s a quick job, a perfect fit, and built to last. Brilliant value for money. The black rubber like fitting you just force it through the holes on the toilet (it requires a bit of force and squeezing of the bung but it fits snugly) then you just literally screw the seat into the bung.. that's it Pros: • Built to last: Two years of daily use and the soft-close feature still works flawlessly. • Super quick installation: Took me less than 10 minutes to remove the old seat and fit this one. • Great finish: Easy to clean and keeps its premium look over time. • Solid fit: Doesn't slide around or loosen up like cheaper alternatives. • Made of a strong heavy plastic resin (Premium Urea Formaldehyde) Cons: • User error in reviews: Some buyers seem to struggle with installation, but as long as you follow the steps, it's incredibly simple.

Size wise, this lid fitted perfectly on our toilet and as advertised. Unfortunately the hinges would start to bend every time the seat and/or the lid were closed. Quality wise, it is not a bad toilet seat, but is not good quality either. The plastic felt very fragile. The toilet seat had also poor stability and it would wobble on the hinges. Assembly took a bit of time, but it was straightforward. The soft close worked like a charm, really smooth. The quick release buttons worked well to remove the seat and was easy to place the seat back in place. The only issue was that one of the buttons wouldn't hook into the hinge right away and needed a little bit of pressure. Both the toilet and the fittings didn't had the best of quality and we felt it wouldn't last long until it would break. Unfortunately we returned the seat, the return process was smooth. Giving 4 stars as the manufacturer was supportive and tried to help out; quick reply to our emails and gave us options to help sort out the hinges problem. Really great customer support.

Delighted with this loo seat. Fitting was easy, features are outstanding, completely non-slip. We have a 'modern' style bathroom suite which, to be honest, would be better off in a skip. The design is just perfect for not being able to get your arm around, under, over, through, whatever, to fasten anything. What should be the easiest of DIY jobs becomes a bone crunching nightmare. Last time we had a new seat (about 5 years ago) it took two of us just to hold the bolts and washers on so we could tighten it up, it really is almost impossible to reach the underneath of the bolts. Then we discovered these 'top fixing' loo seats and bolts. I was a bit sceptical but ordered one to take a chance. It's fantastic!! Extremely easy to fit, didn't need the instructions at all. The top fixing rubber bungs fit our pan superbly, nice and tight straight away, rock solid after the bolts were tightened. A great feature is the removable seat section so if the bolts become loose they can be tightened up in 60 seconds. The placement 'lugs' on the bottom of the seat (the bits that land on the pan rim) are made of a solid material that's completely non-slip on our pan. Even if the bolts came out completely I can't see this moving very far. Even with the bolts tight, there is some slight movement of the whole seat assembly, but this isn't because it's becoming loose, it's just the play where the removeable seat fixes into the mounting bolts. We love the soft close as well. Sooooo many times I've woken up in the night to pee, crept around the room, quietly gone into the loo then dropped the old seat with one hell of a crash. Not possible anymore. Bliss. I made just one change to the manufacturers intentions for fitting. There are two lengths of bolts provided, short for top fixing and long for bottom fixing. I used the long bolts but still used the top fixing method. I did this so that we could practice our contortion and bone breaking yoga skills to try to get the bottom bolts on as well if necessary. I genuinely don't think we'll need to do this.

I like having a quick release seat for easy cleaning but have used it mainly for constant tightening of the fixing bolts, which allow the seat to move sideways after a few uses, in spite of solid tightening each time. It was a nightmare to get the 'cork' (with metal fixing screw contained within) through the holes in the ceramic toilet. Finally, I lubricated the rubber 'Cork' with wash-up and used a rubber mallet (very carefully!) to knock them through, after half an hour. After attaching the top bolts, easily, the lid slotted on simply. Success! Maybe the lubrication is causing the plugs to loosen when pressure from normal usage is applied. It is very easy to tighten whichever side is shifting, a couple of days later, but a great nuisance and disappointing. I fear another nightmare when the ''cork ' are removed to replace the whole apparatus. A good idea but it is not completely successful for me as guests are being affected. UPDATE: I have given up and purchased a different seat, with bottom fixing, from another firm! The fixings were never going to work as the diameter of the screws and rubber expander are too small for the holes in the ceramic basin: I tried replacements but the seat moved sideways, every time and was totally unsafe. The product may work well on a new basin with smaller holes but not with this older model. This was confirmed by a professional plumber, well versed in the problem. I liked the seat but could not get it safely installed.

The first thing I noticed about this seat is that it appeared to be very light compared to our old toilet set. I was looking for a reasonably priced soft close toilet seat as it will only be used for a few months as we are having a new bathroom fitted in a few months. This toilet seat is oval in shape the measurements are length 46 width 37 and height 4.8 cm Soft closure toilet seats are designed to lower gently onto the bowl this action eliminates clattering and banging of the seat. This in turn should mean the seat will last longer without the risk of chipping etc from repeated impact. The seat was very easy to install and came with all the necessary fittings. It took my partner approximately 5 mins to remove the old one and fit this new one. I like the fact that it is made of anti bacterial material it also has a quick release for easy removal to make it easier to clean. The slow closure is much slower than our old toilet seat. I actually have taken a video of it so you can see it in action! The toilet seat fits well especially when we've fitted it to an old toilet pan. The seat stays in place and doesn't wobble or move about. I would recommend this toilet seat. I do hope you found my review helpful

I have to admit, when I saw this on Amazon, I was unsure about buying it. Why? Because for that price, getting a slow close toilet that is also quick-release had me worried about quality (no one wants a wobbly toilet when they are doing the doo). But, it's the kid's bathroom... So I thought let's just go for it. I was pleasantly surprised about how sturdy it is. The quick-release feature is easy to use, just press the button and pull the seat out from the bolts, placing it back it. Just align the bolts over the holes and slide it down until it clicks into place, makes cleaning very easy. It was also very easy to install and the bolt holes are adjustable to suit different needs. It did have instructions, but it is so straightforward that I didn't actually read them, so I can't tell you how legible they are. However, I do remember seeing clear diagrams on how to do it if you require some guidance There is a slight bit of give when moving the seat laterally, so it loses a star for that. It's not the bolts, they hold fast, I believe it's the quick release mechanism. That said, I think this is really good value for money and recommend the product as a standard replacement toilet seat.

This is a really good quality solid soft-close loo seat, comfy and easy to clean, and we're very happy with it. Hence five stars. The instructions were a bit of a puzzle to me; maybe if you are more diy-tastic you would have been fine. The translations are interesting (mute toilet seat). The exploded diagram of the fixings appears to show the rubber grommet plug being fitted on top of the porcelain and screwed down. I tried that. It was incredibly difficult to get the bolt to seat into the socket in the grommet. The seat wobbled like crazy. Cue fretting and thoughts of doing a return. But then I realised that if I inserted the grommet (or "cork" as it is termed in the instructions) from the underside, so that it actually fitted through the hole in the porcelain, it would be fine. After a bit of fiddling with some radio pliers so that I could grab the top collar of the grommet, I persuaded it through. There were some bad words because one side of our loo is really much too close to the wall, hence access problems. I got there and hooray it all fitted together just fine. It's strong and stable now unlike the government. So I am very happy. I hope my adventures might help someone else who like me is a bit DIY 101.

Pour changer le mien qui s'est cassé et là je dois dire que je suis ravi par la facilité d'installation, je tiens à préciser que je suis handicapé moteur et n'ai qu'une main de valide et là avec ma seule main ça m'a pris 15 minutes à peine pour l'installer j'ai choisi l'option installation par le haut puisqu'il est possible de l'installer soit par le haut ou le bas, en ce qui me concerne par le haut bien plus pratique nul besoin de se contorsionner, reste à voir maintenant la solidité dans le temps mais jusque là parfait je suis ravi.

Les caoutchouc se ratatinent quand on les serre !!!! Rien ne tient
