Really happy with my purchase, we received the yellow one which I didn't no was an option and got it when it was on offer so that was a bonus, my lad has asd/adhd so we struggle to find things that will interest him but he loves playing with kinetic sand it keeps him entertained for a while, it really helps with his sensory input, it never dries out and doesn't make alot of mess, it's not sticky at all either, I'd always choose kinetic sand over other sand products as I no the quality is spot on, I definitely recommend this to anyone

My girls love the kinetic sand. Good size, bright colour and lovely feel, if any goes on the floor it is easy to clean up and does not stain. Good quality and provides hours of fun.

I chose this pack specifically as this was the cheapest box that I could find. I received purple sand, and the colours are random unless specifically asked, I think.I have never felt this sand before, so my impressions are this:The grains of sand are quite large - similar to the size of what you think of at a beach. The behaviour of the sand is 'soft' and flowing but won't be velvety soft as it's still mainly sand. That fluffy marshmallow-esque texture when it opens up is effortless to do. One of the reasons this is called Kinetic sand is because the particles keep on collapsing. You cannot really mould many shapes with this without the edges collapsing in time. Like some ASMR videos, there is a little sound when cut with a knife, but the sound is really quite quiet. You do get that nice feedback, however.Overall, it is fun to play with, but doesn't hold nearly as much as normal sand with a little water. This flows better than anything else I have felt, so I guess it's just a compromise.

Where was this when I was little? I hate sand, absolutely hate it. It gets everywhere, doesn't wash off, feels gritty and uncomfortable. This stuff is nothing like that! It holds together, it moulds, it flows, it picks up easily from the carpet. My 3 year old is a fan (when she can get it off me!).The only drawback - because it's coloured she now looks like a smurf! It has stained her hands.Great idea, just ordered a bigger set.

Bought this to try with my very energetic 3 year old boy. He gets bored easily but this kept him entertained for an hour on first use. He now plays with it everyday for atleast 30- 40 minutes . I think he enjoys the sensory stimulation it gives him. It's also easy to clean up which is a plus too. The only unfortunate thing is you can't choose your colour( a pink one was send out) I would love to get him another pack but too worried I'll receive pink again and that's no fun. Give us a choice on colours and your business will be booming.
