Our podiatrist, ten years ago, said this is one of the best supportive walking shoes. He is so right. After buying that first pair, I never bought any other brand. My knees were bone on bone so walking was difficult. This helped so much. Of course Brooks cannot fix bone on bone, but it can make walking a little bit better. Also these shoes are great for giving you a good steady and safe walk. At 70, falls are always a worry for me. So I give kudos for the great non slip soles and support Brooks has in abundance. Last thing I want to say is that I bought a pair for my sister this year for her birthday. It is her first pair of Brooks and I know from all the thank you’s I have gotten from her - she has never worn any other tennis shoe that has come close to the Brooks. Her first comment was that as soon as she put them on - they were so comfortable. She said “there is no breaking them in!” She is right, each new pair is like putting on your most comfortable house shoes. Never any break in time with Brooks. This years Brooks - for the first time- were a little too short on their shoe laces. So I had to buy new laces for the first time over all of the years. Not a big deal at all. My sister’s were not too short for her. My feet swell sometimes so this explains it.

I was turned on to Brooks sneakers by my podiatrist, after being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I bought one pair a few months ago at a price I'd never paid before for sneakers. They were awesome and my feet loved being in them. So I decided to buy another pair in a different color which I got yesterday. Shoes are fabulous the fit is great, I'm usually a size 7 and 1/2 in all shoes, but I bought an 8 so that I can wear thicker cushiony socks and have more room in the toe box. These Brook shoes are fabulous. However, when you spend this kind of money on athletic shoes, especially if you have foot problems, you really don't expect the company to cheap out on laces. Unlike my first Brooks pair, these laces are so short that they barely tie, and they're thin nothing laces. Now I have to decide I have to spending $90 whether I want to spend more money and go by laces. Or, I can just return these. That would be cutting off my nose to spite my face so I do believe I will buy better laces. Note to company, outfit your magnificent athletic shoes with laces that are longer and thicker so that the seriousness of the shoe isn't compromised. Other than this one issue that's really irking me, I highly recommend the shoe. Update: shoes are way too good to send back just for laces; I bought laces. end of that story. Get these shoes!

These sneakers are extremely COMFORTABLE . They have enough SUPPORT wear my knees don’t hurt at the end of my shift. I don’t have sweaty feet - my feet tend to be cold but with these I felt stinky feet can happen because they aren’t as BREATHABLE as my other sneakers. The COLOR is more purple than I thought but getting use to them. WALKING ABILITY - I work all day on my feet and don’t feel tired at the end of my day. However, I do have some issues with them. The shoelaces are super short. But also the sides are far apart even with shoelaces tied. It gives a look like I squeezed my feet in them although they are super comfortable. The last thing I want to mention is that there was a little color bleed on the sole. Overall very functional sneaker. Wish the laces were longer and sides came together more but overall it good value for the money. Maybe next time I’ll try wide although I never been a wide.

Between walking 5 - 7 miles every day with my doggo, indoor rowing 4x a week, creeping up on my mid-40s, and dealing with plantar fasciits, and the occasional bulged disk, wearing high quality footwear is extremely important to me for physical fitness, reducing risk of injury and comfort. Brooks as a brand are the best sneakers I've ever owned - Top notch for quality, comfort, structure, support, and durability. My preferred models are the Ghost 14s for outdoor activities, and Revels for around the house and rowing. BUT... these Adrenalines... WOW. LOVE them!! I almost hate wearing them because I want them to last literally forever. Because of the light color, I tend not to wear them during my daytime walks, because I don't want them to get super dirty, but I wear them every morning for added visibility on my pre-sunrise walks. They are true to size with plenty of room to accommodate for uneven terrain without compromising structure and support. They are wide in the toe-bed, appropriately snug to the heel, and just super comfortable. I do replace the original insole for the Pure Stride Orthotics recommended by my podiatrist, but even without these, these Adrenalines are just a super addition to my sneaker collection. Love, love, love them!

So I have what my doctor explained as extremely flexible ankles, they wobble, I sprain my ankles once every 5 months on average. I went to my Orientation at cal state that was 10 hours long standing and walking all over campus in these shoes, never for a second did I feel any discomfort, my feet weren’t even tired when I got home. The price is outrageous but I looked at ur design, there is an increase in sole height towards the inner foot since my ankle tolls inwards this raised platform keeps my ankles from spraining. They are a bit tight at the top and yes the laces are short but you can always get new laces. These have cushioning that is firm, now many sneakers have very plush and “soft” cushioning, what happens with this is that your weight will eventually flatten it because it’s not dense enough then there is no more support. You can always spot really good quality shoes that will have LASTING cushioning by how dense it is. Some may feel that these don’t have plushy enough cushioning, but look this model is a certified PDAC A5500 diabetic shoe, so it has been inspected and henceforth approved for people who really need shoes that will support there feet.
