Dolphin (2024 Model) Explorer E40 Wi-Fi Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner Pools up to 50 FT - Waterline Scrubber Brush

I’m not sure what all the hype is about with a dolphin cleaner. It’s has an app… you can program it when to clean your pool if you leave it in and turn on or off. That’s it…. You have to pull out the cleaner, the long cord and the box to power. There are no other options to just clean the floor, or just the wall. It does both and I don’t need my walls done. It does clean well and it’s easy to clean out but my opinion is it’s a lot to pull out for a robotic cleaner especially when I have a cordless one that cleans the same and does more.

I've been using a pressure side cleaner since we built our pool in 2018. I had used a robotic pool cleaner in an above ground pool before, but was not impressed at the time. I finally got tired of untangling the hose and replacing parts on this high dollar, name brand pressure side cleaner, and decided to try out the Dolphin. I'm so glad I did.* this robot actually climbs the walls and cleans off the tile and it's a hoot to watch - it looks like it's trying to crawl out of the pool.* the filters are super easy to clean, they're flat filters you can wash off with a hose - no bag type filters in this unit.* there's an app that let's you turn it on or off from the comfort of your home, or outside your home. Great for if you're headed home and you want the pool clean when you get there* the filters trap very small dust - my pressure side cleaner would just shoot a lot of this dust back into the water and then I'd have to clean my cartridge filters more often* the hose swivel works awesome. I've intentionally tried to get the power line to twist and it just won't.* you can't change the cycle time on it, but it's cleaned my 18x33ft rectangle pool without issues each time.* did I mention how easy it is to clean the filters. This is huge for me because I hated cleaning the bag types where you could never get them 100% clean.* this robot is less expensive than my pressure side cleaner, and that's not even counting the extra cost of a booster pump.

The Dolphin E25 Explorer robotic pool vacuum is a perfect match for us. We have a 14 x 32 Grecian shaped inground pool and this robot handles it with ease. It is simple to operate. Simply drop the robot in the pool, attach the cord to the power/wifi box and press the power button. The robot will run for 2 hours and then shut off by itself. You can adjust the run time within the Dolphin app if you have a larger pool and need the robot to run longer.Cleaning this robot compared to other robots is easy. Instead of a leaf net type debris bag, this robot uses 2 cartridge type filters and can really catch some fine debris. Simply open the lid, remove the cartridge and spray it off with a garden hose. There is a cartridge on both sides of the robot. The dual motors also help get this robot moving pretty quickly across the pool floor.If you want a great working robot, this Dolphin is the way to go!

This is the fourth robotic pool cleaner I've owned over the years. Maytronics Dolphin is the leader in this industry, and their cleaners can't be beat! My previous cleaner was the Dolphin Explorer e30. This Explorer e25 seems to be pretty much the same unit with a lightly different filter system and adds WiFi, which is a nice added luxury. This cleaner runs on a two hour cycle, and will thoroughly clean you pool, scrubbing and vacuuming the floor, walls and waterline. It truly works every time!! The WiFi allows me to simply operate the robot, using my iphone, from the comfort of my home. It also lets me know when the filters are full, and require. I generally leave the cleaner in the pool, and run it every day or two. This keeps my pool absolutely immaculate at all times! Cleaning the filters is a breeze. Simply pop open the top of the cleaner and lift them out. Open the filter, dump the leaves and debris, give it a quick hosing off, drop back into the robot, and you're ready to go! This is a vast improvement over my original robot (25+ years ago), which had a large fabric filter bag that required extensive turning and rinsing to clean. These robots have come a very long way. We are now at the point where the robot is all you need. No more vacuum hoses. No more spending back breaking hours manually vacuuming the pool. This is an absolute must have for all pool owners! Dolphin is the brand! This new Explorer e25 is an impressive robotic pool cleaner that does everything it is supposed to do. Highly recommend!!!

The media could not be loaded.  When you have a pool, you realize quickly that it takes time to maintain it, and one of the things that is a pain is to clean up leaves and other small debris on the bottom surface. This is especially true if you ever try using a basket on the end of a long pole. Yes, you can get some of your leaves in the basket, but I tell you, you will spend so much time chasing leaves all over your poolThis pool cleaner is a great setup. The motor/cleaner unit drops in the water, connected to a long blue cord back to the wifi/power unit. We have a large, odd shaped pool. Not to mention, our nearest power supply is about 30 feet from the water edge. You need to have a long enough cable to reach the end of the pool that is opposite from the power supply. This set up has a long enough cable to handle even the biggest home in-ground pool.The main power supply serves as a simple power connection as well as a wifi/bluetooth connector. After downloading the application, the setup process was a breeze. Technically, you do not even need to connect the cleaner up to an app to operate it. You can drop the cleaner in, plug it in, and hit the center button to get the cleaner up and running. To be clear - the app is a blast and if you need to do a couple of quick cleaning cycles, it is nice to just start up the cleaning from your phone. The app also tells you the progress of the cleaning cycle and how much time is left. You can also set up how many times a week you want the unit to clean if you leave it in the pool. For me- I take out the cleaner after I complete the cleaning as I have been told several times that the lifespan is significantly extended when the cleaner is not in use.The most important job is the cleaner needs to - clean. I can tell you from my experience this product cleans amazingly well. I like the fact that the cleaner runs around and seems to learn the map of the pool. I think the manufacturer built in enough smarts for it to adjust in such a way to cover the entire pool.Cleaning out the filters are super easy. You pop out the top panels to expose the two included fine filters which just pop out in not time. Once out, you have two clips to release the side panels and you can rinse them out in no time. What I like the most here is that filters capture algae as well as other fine debris like sand and dirt. If you have a huge amount of leaves in the fall, you do need to run the unit more times an clean it out regularly.The cleaner is not that heavy, which means it is not that hard to remove from the pool to store away. I have a rack and a cover to keep the cleaner away from the sun and parked away nice and neat. The rack and the cover are not included, but I would encourage you to purchase one.A super solid performer. Easy to clean and maintain. Sit back and enjoy your pool and not worry that you need to endlessly brush and clean out the bottom.
