Excellent, affordable price
100 Miles Later, Thoughts– I feel healthier, I look better, I've burned off some of my too-much-screentime pudge, I have finally grown a fat butt (in the good way). I started real slow, short bursts, going only until I started huffing/puffing. First time: level 1, 8 mph, made it 0.3 miles. [Yeah, I know, don't shame me.] I have physical disabilities: I cannot bike, run, swim, jump. This is the only repetitive-motion workout (machine) that does not cause me harm. Careful never to push myself: because if I got hurt using it, I know I would stop using it, for months. Slowly stepped myself up to faster/longer. By one month: level 1, 12 mph, nearly a mile. Now: level 2, 15 mph, 2 miles. [Hey, for someone who has been derelict for 12+ years... Don't judge me.] I use it at least twice a week, before I take a shower, having made it part of my routine. [Or if I am passing by and want to power through a quick mile, if I'm feeling like a fatty.] This elliptical has a shorter ‘gait’ than others, looks a little odd. Consider: power walking looks silly, yet it works well, which is why people do it: same concept. Shift your weight slightly and use completely different muscles. If getting tired: twist instead at your knees, thighs, hips, waist, shoulders: work more of yourself, differently. Push/pull with your arms instead to relieve some pressure from the legs. An all-around decent workout. I did not need the Bluetooth-enabled display. I care only about how far I get at what speed, and don't need my phone judging me. [Or any insurance companies buying/selling my exercise progress.] Should you care about such things, or if you require an external source judging you: spend the extra money to track your progress. The motion is smooth, but occasionally the back-end starts getting a little ‘grindy’ in tone, but that usually passes. I thought I was going to have to grease the gears, so to speak, when it started sounding worse for a few sessions, but that went away of a sudden one day and hasn't returned. The right handle clicks a bit if I grip the top-half, but again only intermittently. [A crack inside the handle, mayhap? Squeeze it just wrong and it can be heard.] Overall, this elliptical is not silent, but also not loud. Starting out from stagnancy is difficult/discouraging, but worth it, if you keep it up. Make it a part of your routine, do not push yourself too hard, and do not deviate (more than one skip-day here and not-often there). Run yourself a little less hard/long if you don't feel up to it, but do not quit. Quitters only grow fatter assess (in the bad way). For your health: here is a good, affordable, reliable choice.

simple machine for daily workout, no bells and whistles but gets the job done
Gives me a good workout everyday and I like that I can adjust the tension. I am 5'9" and had some issues knocking my knees on the handles for the first two weeks but now must be used to the machine since that no longer happens. Agree with other reviews that the assembly is annoying and tricky. Took me 3-4 hours by myself but the instructions are clear enough and the pieces well-labeled. I just took some breaks when I got frustrated before continuing. I haven't hooked up to the software or used the pulse monitor. The built-in screen doesn't always reset for me like it's supposed to so I just use my phone to keep track of my time. It's not a very intuitive program and the manual wasn't super helpful. I bought a mat for underneath the machine since it would likely shift on my hardwood floor otherwise. Machine was quiet when I first started but after about 45 days, there's now a persistent noise with the movement--can't figure out what I need to tighten to quiet it. Overall, well-worth the price and suits my needs for a daily exercise machine without any bells and whistles.

Smooth, Quiet, and Easy to Set Up — Perfect for Staying Active at Home
I purchased this elliptical while I was pregnant because I wanted a low-impact way to keep myself moving, and I still use it regularly. The overall quality really impressed me right out of the box—it feels sturdy, well built, and stable during use. I especially appreciate how smooth and quiet it is, which makes it easy to fit workouts in without disturbing anyone else in the house. Assembly was much easier than I expected. I’m not someone who enjoys putting things together, but the instructions were clear and straightforward, and the partially pre-assembled frame made the process manageable to do on my own. It felt well thought out from a setup perspective. The resistance levels offer a nice range, and the motion feels gentle on the joints while still giving a good full-body workout. I like having the digital monitor to track my time and distance, and the built-in device holder is a nice convenience for following along with workouts or just staying entertained. Overall, this elliptical has been a great addition to my home setup. It’s quiet, functional, easy to assemble, and feels like a solid value for the price. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, low-impact option for at-home exercise.

and could give me a decent workout on bad weather days
I needed an elliptical exercise machine that didn't take up a whole lot of space in my apt. and could give me a decent workout on bad weather days. This little cookie fit the bill for me. It's small compared to gym size ellipticals but sturdy. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles electronics as a big machine but it has basic vital functions (including pulse) and is very easy to operate. Be aware, the tension adjuster is a manual knob-type. It's in a good position on the machine and easy to operate. I turn it up and down during my workout to give me a "hill" challenge. It comes almost completely un-assembled. I recommend you take your time or better yet get someone to put is together for you. I am mechanically inclined and it took me about 40 minutes to put together which is a decent time. Once together, this cookie gave me a good workout and it continues to for the past several months. This machine will be one part of my cardio workout program especially during the winter. And since I keep it in the living room, it's easy to just hop on it and get a little workout going while I watch TV. Some other things to be aware of that I found since my purchase, there are occasion squeaks that happen. I keep the little tools that came with the machine handy and when this happens, I re-tighten any loose bolts and it stops that. Sometimes a rubbing noise comes from the magnetic base, according to the instructions when this happens you loosen the base cover, adjust the position of the cover and re-tighten. I've only had to do this once since I've had it. So overall this machine works very well for my needs, it's decently built/engineered, and it's a great price. It will be a little too basic for advanced athletes but it should work well for beginners, intermediates (looking to supplement their workouts), couch potatoes, and the elderly.

It works well for me
This thing has really mixed reviews, so I wanted to give it some time to use before I reviewed it so I could touch on some key points. 1. The size is great. I usually go to the gym but needed something at home due to COVID. This fits nicely in a corner of my bedroom and is lightweight and pulls out easily. 2. My husband is a mechanic and general handyman, and he put it together. He said it wasn’t incredibly difficult but might be for someone who isn’t handy (he meant me), especially getting the belt on. If this is you, you might want to pay for assembly. 3. Because it’s compact, it doesn’t have an incredibly large range of motion. I actually appreciate this because I find it makes me actually use my arms more, but I’m 5’4” and think that it might be cramped and uncomfortable for someone even a few inches taller. You definitely can’t “run” on it, but you can get a good enough workout to break a sweat. 4. It feels sturdy under me, but I weigh 130 pounds, and I feel it might be a little unstable for heavier weights. It definitely rocks a little bit when I go faster, and it’s a bit noisy as it revolves due to the magnet. 5. The digital display is useless except for the timer. It tells me that I burn three times as many calories and go twice the distance as my Apple Watch says (and I think my watch is probably a bit forgiving). All in all, I think it’s a decent little machine and it works very well for my purposes (30 minutes of cardio daily in addition to weight training and yoga). I plan to use it until it’s safe to go to the gym again, and if I have any problems with it, I’ll update my review.

I've never regretted a purchase more
This device has exactly 0 pros: Size - It's pretty compact. That's a pro, right? Well... Kinda. The thing is, exercise bikes with this footprint are easy to come by. And I know why you're here, you prefer ellipticals to exercise bikes. I do too. But I'm telling you, whatever it is you think you like about ellipticals, this machine doesn't offer that (read on in the cons for more on this). Get yourself an exercise bike with the same footprint and you'll be happier. Furthermore, avoid this brand at all costs. Cost - You'd be tempted to think that it's cheap, but cheap items only save you money if they don't fall apart quickly. It's not cheap, it's just a low upfront cost. Its cons are overwhelming though. Jerky - You think of an elliptical as this nice machine that lets you choose which muscles to engage because as long as you keep the average effort over time at a certain level, it'll keep spinning right? Not this one. This one requires continuous engagement or it immediately slows down. Is there even a flywheel in here at all? I'm honestly not sure at this point. This elliptical is about as fun as running, but even though I hate running, running is free. Noisy - Thud thud thud. Why does the whole frame contort every stride? Who knows. Thud thud thud. Also, the mechanism itself isn't quiet, which I didn't notice until I finally replaced it. Fragile - The left foot pad broke during shipping. I tapped it together when putting it back together. The right foot pad broke one time when I stepped on it a little wrong I guess. I tapped that back together. A little more than a year after I bought it, and with infrequent use, given how much I hate this elliptical (probably 20-30 hours of use or less), it's finally done me the favor of starting to fall apart. The nuts on the pedals keep coming off. I'm not sure why, but it was frankly a blessing. I ended up buying an exercise bike with the same footprint, which is smoother and quieter. The exercise bike wasn't cheaper, but the exercise bike doesn't need to last very long before it will be cheaper per hour of use. Not really an elliptical? - So I'm not even sure if this thing is really an elliptical. Ellipticals let you use your arms. This thing doesn't. Like yeah, there are handlebars, but remember that bit about being jerky? The flywheel (or lack of) is so bad on this machine that you cannot maintain the motion purely with your arms. Ellipticals let you back pedal. Not this one. The frame contortions and jerkiness overwhelm any honest attempt to do so. Ellipticals let you just press & lift with your feet almost like a stair climber. Not this one. Again, the jerkiness of motion denies you the ability to actually use this thing like you would expect. I know you like ellipticals, I do too. But this isn't what you want. I'm sorry. I wish it was. Please. Let my pain be enough for you to learn from.

Helped get my pre-covid body back and me out of my depression
For the price and the small footprint alone this machine is worth it. The psychical and mental benefits it’s brought me have been nothing short of amazing. Like so many people, I’ve packed on the pounds during this pandemic not to mention a deterioration in my mental well being. I bought this machine three weeks ago and have used it every morning for an hour before work and sometimes an hour after work. In three weeks I’ve shed 10lbs and my depression has noticeably improved. It is sturdy, well made, and without the operational noises other reviewers have mentioned. It was easy to assemble (by myself) and takes up less room than I expected. If I have to give it one criticism it would be the smaller stride length than that of other ellipticals I’ve tried. It’s about a foot and a half and I’m 5’7” but it doesn’t seem to affect the fluidity of the movement or put undue strain on my legs or joints. I don’t use the moveable handles when I exercise on an elliptical but rather stand upright and pump my arms as if I’m jogging and I usually have on weighted gloves. Not only does the movement feel more smooth and fluid for me but I’m engaging my core the entire time. All in all I would highly recommend this elliptical for those looking for a compact and sturdy piece of exercise equipment that won’t break the bank. Cheers.

Nice machine
First it was very heavy needed a dolly to bring in house. Hard to remove from box. And NO BOOKLET ON HOW TO ASSEMBLE. IT is not like it seems pull out-of box and unfold. It says scan code to get manual . I had to search for a video on how to assemble. There wasn't one on YouTube for that model so I checked sunnyhealth site and there was a short fast video and had to keep pausing. It's not that there's alot to assemble but you need to know what screws and bolts go where and other parts. Really for the money they couldn't supply instructions. I had a cheaper model by them and it came with a nice decent booklet assembly and other info. So once assembled...its very well built and sturdy and smooth. Hard to get it leveled without it moving side to side and not sure why because I've had many exercise machines and never an issue. You will have to keep track clean and wipe down silicon spray to keep smooth. I wonder if the wheel peice that slides will wear out because I had had an expensive elliptical and same type of wheel and they did wear and bowflex sold replacements.
