Can this product be applied to plexiglass

I'd say so if you don't plan on touching it after. It would be really easy to peel off on a really smooth surface. If you want it to be more permanent you could use a wire brush to make grooves in the plexiglass.

Is this the paint that’s used to make a probox? after the box is made with 3/4mdf is this the paint that’s applied to have the finished product?

This is actually speaker box paint, applied by brush or small roller. It is the actual box paint. Many as you call it probox use either this or Bedliner Spray. Depends on the cost and intended location of the boxes.

Can you use this on the speakers metal grill?

Product is made for wood cabinets over metal anything. (Truck bed liner) If I wanted to paint a speaker grill, I would heat the whole grill by a heat lamp covering the complete surface before painting, not burning hot, too warm to touch with skin. spray paint would be better, spray on lightly, it should give a powdered look finish,
