So this is a really good ring light but there are some things to keep in mind before you buy it. Lets talk about the pros firstPROS- Great price point compared to most ring lights in the market..A ring light would cost any where between 15-35 thousand rupees.The yongnuo YN308 is only 8,390/- rupees which i think is reasonable compared to other brands in the market.-It comes with a wireless remote allowing you to controlll the ring light from where ur sitting or where ever u are even at a distance.The remote needs 2 aaa batteries to be used wirelessly. If u dont have batteries in the remote or u forget, u can connect it to the ring light by sliding it into the remote slot at the back of the ring light.The remote then uses the power of the ring light to function .-the ring light can be used with two NP-F750 batteries which can be slide into the two battery slots behind the ring light allowing u to use the ring light wirelessly as in without an adapter for more mobile experiences like on shoots.-it comes with a hand held accessory which allows u to hold the ring light and move around in mobile situations unlike having to depend on a tripod.-its light weight but very well build.Great quality.-the colour temperature can be fine tuned from 3200 and 5500k which was the best part..trust the me the degree of fine tuning on this is amazing.You have 0-100 for each category.5500 turns on the white strips and 3200 turns on the yellow strips..There r two modes FINE and COARSE.fINE ALLOWS U TO CHOOSE EACH DEGREE FOR EG. 1 2 3 4 5 etc allowing u to gradiently build the brightness and Coarse increase the brightness by 10 points . so 10 20 30 etc..each strip can be controlled individually ..its truly amazing how much controll this remote gives..-There r 8 channels on the remote allowing u to control more than one of the same ring light.If u have 3 ring lights you can use the same remote for all three provided you calibrate the remote to the ring light. the way to do it is mount the remote on the remote slot behing of the ring light u want to calibrate. choose a channel eg channe 2. then press the power button on the remote it will show the setting change from OFF to 00 then select a category either 5500 or 3200 and then increase or decrease the brightness ..to calibrate each ring light to a different channel the remote has to be mounted first nd the previously mentioned steps have to be done.-comes in a nice carry on bag to carry the ring light in.CONS-there is no mount on the ring light for your dslr.U have to get a separate stand for ur dslr.-it does not come with the np-f750 batteries nor the adapter.All u get is the remote and the hand held accessory.-the adapter is hard to find in india.the one on amazon.in was very expensive.if your buying the 8V 5A DC adapter which is what you require, order it from aliexpress.com ..I got mine for 12$.There is also the yongnuo yn 608 model available which is slightly bigger in diametre..personally im very happy with this model its big enough.Hope this helped. Oh and yeh..the ring light doesnt heat up. Ive given this 5 starts cz for me it was worth the trouble..I already had stands and stuff so wasnt too much of a hassel.. but for someone who has a dslr nd nothing else. then maybe going for a ring light with a stand and other things might be better .. A one time investment.having said that .. itl still be cheaper to get this ring light, buy the adapter separately from aliexpress for 12 $ or less and buy buy a stand for the ring light and then one for ur camera.. So in the end its upto you..for me the great plus point over all other ring lights is the remote..

Horrible experience ! Ordered it in urgent one day delivery for travelling to only find out after the package was received that the Power Adapter and plug in battery point didn’t come with it !!Returned it ! Such a bad experience ..

It does not have any batteries or socket. Not mentioned online about this in detail.

I love using it to do my make up and taking pics

I love this! So easy to use, portable and lighting is good enough for quick videos and Travelling. I only give it 4 because it needs to be plugged in to work. I thought I could charge it for a while then use it without being plugged in- but nope- needs to be plugged in at all times. Otherwise, great value!
