Fat Cat GolfFits EZGO RXV Golf Cart Fender Flares (Set of 4)

I have nothing but good to say about this product. It fits the contours of the fenders perfectly and looks good. As many of you probably know, if you have oversized wheels, mud and water gets sprayed on the back of your cart and onto the rear seat and passengers. This will cure that problem.Installation was quick and easy. It took me about 40 minutes including getting out and putting away the tools. My set came with black metal screws to attach the flares. I used a 9/64 drill bit for the pilot hole. IMO, forget the on line videos for installation. They just make an easy job harder. For the rears, first hand fit them to your fender and mark the rear most hole on the fender. Drill that hole and mount the flare to the fender with a screw. Then simply hold the flare in place as you drill the remaining holes and insert the screws. The fronts are even easier. The notches in the flares dictate the placement. I drilled the center hole first so that it would pivot and then just drilled and screwed in the rest of the holes. Quick and easy.If I were to be picky, the front bottom of the flare needs a slight trim to follow the contour of the cart body. If you get down on the ground with light behind it, there is a very slight gap at the very bottom. Not enough to worry about.I hesitated on these because I felt the pictures made them look too industrial or utilitarian. They do not. In fact, IMO they enhance the appearance. Although not identical, the finish on the flares coordinate well with the black trim on the cart.

There where no instructions on how to beat install so we were on our own to figure it out. We had to go out and buy another $20 in hardware to be able to install them securely. We tried to use the clips it came with, but the first one we tried broke half way in. Since it only came with the exact amount of clips needed we had to go out and buy nuts and bolts to ensure they where not going to come off. I would have returned them but the fenders them selves where ok once we figured out a safe way to install them. So be ready to spend more money to install them properly.

For the money it’s a good value. These fender flares look good and function as intended. Didn’t come with installation instructions but you can search for ezgo rxv fender flare install on YouTube. It came with cheap plastic fasteners we didn’t use them. We used a 9/32 drill bit, 1/4 stainless steel bolts (1in length) +ss lockwasher+ss nuts. I believe we used 20 stainless steel bolts. I would recommend getting 2 longer bolts like 1-1/4 for the front fenders. Barely got its fastened, couldn’t use a lock washer so used locktite. Actually would recommend using a little locktite on all of them. Total install time about 30 min.

19 /64 drill bit is what I used in case you are like me and wondered what but to use. Seems to have worked fine. Not sure how hard it would have been to write 19/64 on a piece of tape stuck to a fender....that's why I gave 4 stars for a lack of effort. The product so far seems to be fine.
