Brilliant idea, very convenient and practical, how did I ever manage without these before????Very slim, so much so that I questioned how sturdy they would be. Was very careful when cleaning them on arrival as they appear very flimsy, but they withstood that without any problems.They can be placed anywhere on the nose and just don't slip or move, just grip the nose irrespective of the angle or position you place them at... look up, look down, still no movement!The case is very slim and can be stuck to anything such as a mobile device, purse or any surface where you want them stored. This is a perfect solution for reading glasses, and I'm sure they'll be ideal to take on the go, such as travelling as they require very little space.Very happy with my purchase, thank you.

I have four pairs of reading glasses scattered around this house, but I never seem to have one to hand.Which is why I bought these.They fit easily in my jeans pocket. The case is slim, yet robust enough to protect the glasses from stresses imparted by sitting / bumping into things.The glasses themselves are well-designed. They're very slim and lightweight, yet durable.The nose-piece has a springy metal insert, encased in a rubbery sleeve, so it's unlikely to break for a long time, I would think. It certainly doesn't show any signs of weakening after nearly a year of heavy use.The part that sits on the bridge of your nose has tiny little serrations that help prevent the glasses from sliding off.The lenses are reasonably scratch-resistant, though the case helps prevent scratches from happening.All in all, I heartily recommend these.Well worth the price.

I had mixed reviews but thought I’d give them a go for the times when you just need to read a menu or something and you don’t have your glasses. There is definitely a knack to getting them on your nose, but they really do the job. They do have a habit of pingin out of the case and have dropped on the floor many times and scratched. Not sure how long they’ll last, but have been good when needed. You don’t eat them for long though, as you look ridiculous!

Awesome backup pair of glasses they will fit in a credit card slot in your wallet without the case.

This is about my 4th pair of ThinOptics and I've encouraged several friends to buy them. This model is amazing in that it sticks to the back of your phone so you've always got them (although this is the first time I've had a phone case that was suitable, no stand or nobbly bits.) There is one downside of this particular model though, after a few months the lenses get scuffed. I am sure this is entirely due to the case. I'd love to see a case made of soft leather , or plastic with some sort of soft lining.After a year or more of constant use the middle piece will break.I'll still go back.. the VfM, lightness, comfort and (unscuffed) lens quality are amazing.UPDATE: the middle piece broke today after 4 months of use.. although I have to say they were in and out of the case dozens of times a day.

I can't overstate how cool these things are. So compact and I've attached them to the back of my phone case so they're always handy when I'm out and about.Sometimes I struggle seeing my phone screen and was getting to the point where I would need a selfie stick to hold my phone further away to focus, these handy little pince nais have been so handy in so many situations, from reading menus, to browsing shelf products/directions.Quite often I whip them out and people are always commenting how clever an idea they are. I often tell people where I got them and hoping they buy to.If you, like me, don't want a bulky glasses case for a full size pair to carry around out of the house, then these are the answer to your prayers. While the glasses can feel a little flimsy, they have been fine so far and pretty durable. Quite comfortable around the nose, but wouldn't wear them for extended periods as that's not what they're designed for.I can't recommend them enough, and I'd love a second / third pair.

Not the most comfortable but perfectly useable when you really need to read something that is in a small font, for instance ingredient list on products if you have an allergy, restaurant menus, medication instructions etc.The big plus for me was that the case containing the glasses fits in my Apple MagSafe credit card wallet (actually it fits better than three credit cards do). That means it is very convenient to take with me when I go shopping, out for a meal etcI took off the sticky pad as that was not needed with the Apple Wallet and removing it made the case a slightly better fit in the Apple wallet.Overall I think this product is pretty good and provides a very convenient way to take a set of reading glasses with you when you go outOne thing to note is that the packaging is the sort that has to be destroyed in order to get to the product. Not sure what would happen if you wanted to return them after trying them on if you felt they did not meet your requirements as opposed to the product was defective.

I have recently had cataract surgery and, for the first time in 30 years, no longer need to wear varifocals. However, I now need them for reading and it was driving me mad having to find my specs every time I just wanted to read a quick bit of text. My husband spotted someone using these and suggested I bought some and they are BRILLIANT!! The case is so slim it its inside a credit card holder in my wallet!! The quality of the lenses is excellent and of course they are "flimsy" as a few reviewers have mentioned because they are supposed to be, otherwise they wouldn't fold and fit inside the case!! These are not supposed to replace reading glasses if you need to wear them for any length of time but are perfect for what they are designed for - i.e. whipping out to read something quickly or taking with you when you don't want to carry a bulky pair of glasses.
