This comes with everything you need, it powers our waterfall and the fountain is very powerful with different attachments, very easy to install and cleared our pond of green water after a few days!! With used the attachment for cleaning the filter, very simple and effective and definitely great for the plants, it’s quiet and neat and tidy….. we bought this as an upgrade and I highly recommend!!

Major upgrade for my pond. Really please, came with all fixings and very easy to set up. As before with my previous pump and filter, I'm using a blagdon outdoors electrical box. See Video.

Does not filter as well as other filters but a lot cheaper

Easy to set up. Works a treat. Easy to maintain.Cleared pond water from green to clear in 1 week. Very pleased with purchase.

Firstly, this pump/filter combo has cleared the water much better than my existing gravity filter system - but is too early to comment on cleaning and pump maintenance.Important: Neither the pump nor the filter come with plugs fitted - not many electrical items are supplied without plugs these days. This needs to be clearly stated on the product page or you will have a further delay getting it up and running as you source 2 plugs - and 3-amp fuses. The nicely soldered cable ends are fairly pointless as you need to cut them down to fit a standard plug. These units should have moulded plugs pre-fitted, especially on items which are very likely to be plugged into an outdoor socket.The instruction manual is poor - a bit like a mobile phone manual - where you have to understand how to use the item before you can understand the manual. The exploded diagram on the box is more informative than the manual and if I hadn't had a fountain pump setup previously I might still be working out how to fit the parts. There is a valve in the fountain assembly which clearly regulates proportional flow to the fountain or the filter or both but this gets nomination in the manual - and is simply labelled 'T-piece'.The fountain on the pump produces a nice effect but the entire assembly is too long, with no way of shortening it further. Given that the manual directs you to place the pump on a block above the bottom of the pond (to prevent it sucking up sludge) it means the fountain top protrudes too far above the surface.The tube supplied is good quality but rather stiff which makes it difficult to route it up out of the pond and to the filter unless you have some way of restraining it in a bend or round a corner.Also, don't be misled by the Allpondsolution website product video as this does not come with either the clear pipe tail or the tap in the dirty water outflow.It has cleared the pond well and much better than my previous filter. From my limited experience of cleaning the filters with the built in handle. you would need a considerably bigger bucket than the one shown on the video, or to run off a lot of water elsewhere, before the dirty water outflow runs clean.* Update following first full clean.For weekly cleans, I have been running the waste into a gorilla bucket and turning the handle about 20 times. I tried using a step-down tail and a regular garden hose but it got blocked so it seems best to use a larger hose. That process would complete fill a large gorilla bucket before the water runs clear.Having just done the first full clean I now concur with remarks in other reviews. The flaw in the design is that once there is any appreciable build up of sludge on the filters, the skinny handle won't turn the lowest filter if it is too mucky. There is a small speaker which come out when you unscrew the bottom plate which retains the filters (for which you will need a screwdriver) so take care which way round it need to go back.There is a small sight in the centre of the output control knob which is meant to indicate when the filter is blocked. There is a build up of debris inside mine but it looks like it would require a major dismantling procedure to get to it to clean it, there is nothing to cover this in the manual.

Good for money

Wednesday evening my pond in my opinion was ruined,the water was literally black the fish were nowhere to be seen, within 15 minutes of being switched on I swear I could see me fish, I was stunned to see how quickly it was beginning to clear by the following morning (Thursday) it was seriously clear, its Friday now and I just took this little video my pond is now crystal clear, I'm impressed. I haven't cleaned it yet so can't comment.

Terrible waste of money & appalling customer service! Bought this & had an electrician install it for me, it didn't even work for a week. I had the electrician back & he showed me that the pump's rota had dislodged inside the motor. I contacted All Pond Solutions & they have been incredibly unhelpful, despite having sent them a video of the problem. The most they will offer is a replacement part that I would have to get an electricisn to fit. They will not accept the return of the unit or refund it, as I had just passed the 30 day period (having had the unit for a few weeks before the electrician fitted it & waiting for him to come back & look at it, as I thought it might have been an electrician fault rather than the pump when it stopped working). I am disgusted that the company don't accept their own units back to repair & return to customers. Dealings with them is all via short curt emails. The product is obviously of very poor quality to have broken so quickly.
