I live in one of the many tornado alleys in Alabama. I purchased a Harbor Freight portable tent, just after putting it up (using the included ground stakes), we had a bad storm with 50+ mile an hour winds. My portable shed ended up halfway down the block. I used these when I put it back together. We have gone through SEVERAL storms since with the same and higher wind gust without any issues!Speaking of using these, they were very easy to install! I am a 55 year old woman that has lost a lot of my strength and I had no issues! I used the bit, that was included with the stakes, on my portable drill and they went in easy peasy. I did hit some rock in one of the spots so I moved it over a little and went right in!

These were great through a lot of storms and hurricanes and a tornado. Then, the ground got too wet and one came loose and that was the end of my greenhouse. I had these holding tow straps over the plastic and metal greenhouse I bought on Amazon. Ic they were longer, I think they would have lasted through the winter. They are not as thick and long as I would have thought they’d be, but they did a great job waaay passed greenhouse season through so many storms whereas my previous greenhouses didn’t, so we left this up and I tried to keep the plants saline through the winter. Shockingly, even though the snow and tornados took it down this month after one of these anchors gave up, several plants are still alive!We live in Virginia Beach. I think I bought 6 of these and all but 1 stayed in the soft ground here until the major storms came back to back like we get every year during tornado season. We don’t get much bad happening where we live, but a ton of wind and this year we got a big snow storm of around 9 inches of snow, which turns to water. VB has a water table issue that makes for soggy ground everywhere.If you live in a place that doesn’t have a soggy ground issue, or if you are more proactive with going outside before, during, or after bad weather to tweak your anchors, you could probably use these for over a year.The anchors are good to go on the next greenhouse we are going to put up soon.Also, we did put them angled into the greenhouse, so that could also be adding to their strength.These are way better than the others I found anc tried on Amazon.

Not many products wow me, but these anchors way exceeded my expectations. I used my impact driver and the supplied impact socket and they drove into my stoney ground with ease and are very secure. I’m using them as anchor points around my pool so that I can create a rope web over my winter cover to keep it from ballooning in the wind. I will buy these above any others on the market in the future.

I give this product 4 stars only because I have not yet used it. It does come with a properly robust"nut driver" compatible with common power and manual drills. The threads are large and have a reasonable pitch. Should hold well in somewhat less dense soil, but suppose not loose dry sand . This is not for backpacking as the set is heavy. The price for this set I consider more than reasonable.

Just the right accessory for my 10x10 Canopy! I use a battery-powered Driver, and it spins the anchors right in! Rocks, beach sand, or grassy areas, they go right in AND come out when you're done.

Excellent and easy to do. Even with the ground hard as concrete in Texas, they're was no hesitation.

We are using the tent tiedowns to keep our greenhouse from blowing away. So far it works great.

These things are AMAZING! They are very well made, super strong and with the included bit I was able to use my hammer drill to put these in rock hard driveway with packed gravel! Went right in and no matter how hard I pulled did not budge! I HIGHLY recommend these for anything that needs to be tied down, tents tarps whatever!
