I bought this bottle for it's brand name and size. I know McCormick is quality which overall is a great value for my wallet. I've been using fresh onion KY entire cooking years but for the past few years I've grown REALLY tired of, burning eyes while cutting, taking time to mince (hate it) and especially buying onions only to have them ho bad after a few days no matter WHERE they are stored. I decided to try dried minced onions and they are perfect. They add the strong flavor of onion to any dish and no worries of spoiling produce. You have the option too of using less than a whole day gone onion too. Only con is you're not getting the vitamins in fresh onions but it's fine by me. I'll get the vitamins in other ways.
