best camping food ever
OMG! everything from this company is awesome. This is some of the best camping / freeze-dried food I’ve ever had. I’ve got a bunch of their meals for camping, and honestly I even eat them sometimes just for fun because they taste that good.

Filling and taste was good!
I bought this for backup food. I wanted to try them first before I bought more. They are pricey Peak charges $14 which is supposed to be for 2 people for this individual item I would say it would fill too people woman not a guy lol but it is because it is very thickly made ...I suppose you can thin it out if you like with more water. taste was good and will fill you up.

I believe this was a good one. I believe I put a little to much water in. And even though I did, it tasted good. Yes, I would eat it again. I also thought there was enough for two people to eat or one big meal. Supper easy to make. I heated the water in my microwave and it worked great. Simple. 👍 do I feel the cost is worth it. I would say close to yes. Would I buy it again, yes. If I wanted it for my bug out bag. The longevity of shelf life makes it worth it.

Decent
It was alright. It gives more food than a typical pouch in my opinion so if you're really hungry this is good. The flavor was decent but it's mainly just rice and mashed potatoes and not a lot of anything else. Not a ton of flavor. Very filling though

Best tasting quick ready-to-eat high protein meal you can enjoy anywhere
Best tasting ready-to-eat meal that only requires 1 and 3/4 cup of boiling water. It is filling and packs over 40 grams of protein - excellent for a quick high-protein meal anywhere :)

Not the best, but not bad
I've tried many different brands of freeze dried and quick cook camping meals. The novelty of the bison meat made me grab this one to try. It was pretty standard fare. It kept the hunger away while tasting pretty good. The thing that really go me was the biscuit in this pack. You can feel what appears to be a fist sized stone in the package, which it the freeze dried bread. The instructions say you can leave it whole or break it into smaller pieces. Well, I don't know if I got a difficult one of not, but it was harder than hard tack, and I couldn't break it at all. Leaving it whole doesn't let the thing fully rehydrate, and I was left with a chalky dry biscuit that I mostly ate around.

I'd buy again
Delicious and hearty. A little expensive but I guess it was worth it. The biscuits take a lot longer to soak up the boiling water versus the other ingredients. Let it sit for longer than what the instructions say. I wish there was more bison meat in there and less of the biscuits and other stuff, but with that said it was still tasty.
