OWYN Only What You Need Vanilla Flavored 30g Protein Powder, 2.96 LB

I like this stuff! Tastes great to me, although my wife thinks it is too chalky tasting. I am a repeat buyer. I do think they could drop the price some. If you are vegan, this is for you!

Cheaper here on Amazon than at Walmart. I like this stuff. I mix it with 1 cup milk, 1/2 cup oats, blend in my Ninja personal blender then add vanilla ice cream and blend into like a milkshake. Keeps me full long. The ingredients are good quality, plant based and vegan. I don't get indigestion with this and the taste is good. The vanilla goes well with vanilla or cookies and cream ice cream. I really like how it's sugar free and I don't find it overly sweet from artificial sweeteners as I've seen others say. There is clumping if only stirring to mix with milk. I recommend using a personal blender because it gets it smooth. If not adding ice cream it thickens up good enough for a milkshake as is. But I prefer my milkshakes thicker and that's why I add ice cream and oats for the extra fiber. I'm strength training and using this protein powder with training 1-3 times a week and tracking my macros, my EVOLT scan showed that I've lost 5.5% body fat in one month. I think it's hard to get the right amount of protein and this really helps. Great for breakfast, snack, lunch or dinner, before or after workout. Definitely going to keep buying this product.

Best vegan protein I’ve had. It’s pricier, but worth it. Whey makes my throat tingle so I prefer vegan, this hits that mark for me. It also provides a hefty amount of clean protein that gives me extended energy and is easy to digest. It’s not very thick, which I prefer. Easy to blend with just about anything.

After getting several of these, I understand the inconsistent reviews. The first 4 containers of the vanilla flavor (not all from Amazon) were lovely. The powder dissolved well in my ice cold water and frothed up in my blender bottle. Delightful! This most recent container is horrible. It's like vanilla flavored drywall dust that sinks to the bottom and never really dissolves. Forget the smooth frothiness. I have to force it down to get past the chalky texture. It's not worth the $25 for 2 week's worth of product if it is not enjoyable. If the next container isn't better, I'll have to find another protein supplement.

I do not care for the chalky feel of this, but I love the product. I use it in a lot of ways other than as a shake. I mix it in many of my foods to boost my protein. The flavor is really good. I just bought the chocolate to try also. I use this regularly.

I was so excited to find a protein powder that actually has a great protein count and abides by my dairy and gluten free lifestyle. You get so much bang for your buck with this. It tastes good in shakes or just added to food. I get the small protein drinks from this brand too.

If you are on the fence, I urge you to try it. Delicious, it dissolves well. I add more milk/water so it is not thick. It is filling and gentle to digest. It really is a complete meal with the probiotics, super greens and long chain amino acids profile. A game-changer for this gluten-sensitive pescatarian.

I’m not so sure about this protein. I like the grams per serving and that it’s plant based and sugar free. It mixes well producing a smooth shake and goes down easy with no stomach problems. But there’s a subtly strange aftertaste that cuts through even when mixed with, say, fruit or other ingredients. Also, my bowel movements have become messy since taking this.
