Firstly let me say I am not a professional angler , so this review is based on an amateur !This fishing kit is very good value and is so nice and compact its ideal for putting in your car so its available when you just feel like pulling over and having a few hours by a lake/river (with the proper permissions/license etc ! lol) .In fact my son has been using this with his 6 yr old son and they have said it is ideal for a father and son fishing trip .Firstly you get a nice carrying bag which has handles , and a strap for over your shoulderInside you get , a tackle box , two reels , two lines , and two extendable rods .Firstly , lets discount the tackle box , I would probably discard that and use my own tackle , apart from hooks , nothing of much use in there .Now the reels are really quite good , they feel good quality and have a silent ratchet on them and really smooth in operation and you get two of these !Next the rods , they again are really good , they say they are carbon fibre and they do look like they are.They retract to about 60 cm and when extended they are about 6-7 ft !To extend them it is a case of just pulling out the sections until they lockThe reels fit nicely on to the rods and they do feel well made and qualityYou do get 100 m fishing line included which is rated at 14.5 kg (not sure about that?)Really pleased with this set and I would certainly recommend it , my son and grandson has used it every day this week !
