Nice curtains, bought to replace an old set Divine Sheer
I had a set of these exact same curtains that I bought some 15 or more years ago from the Country Curtains catalog (now no longer in business). They have always looked beautiful. They are a nice sheer without being a heavy or fussy lace. They have a nice hang to them and flutter wonderfully in the breeze. They filter light without blocking it and provide privacy. They wash up nicely. They look great with any kind of decor. But after having them for so long they’ve got some damage from cat claws and from simply being old. I decided to get a new set to replace the old. They still look to be made nicely and have a nice weight to them, although one panel has some light gray streaks on the edge. Hopefully it’ll wash out. I am disappointed they are no longer made in the USA. My original set was made in the USA, and although it’s listed in the sea as USA under country of origin, this new set says it’s made in Europe on the packaging and on the tag says made in Czech Republic. That’s better than China though, so I suppose there’s nothing I can do about that.

What color, exactly, is "ecru"...
These curtains come in three colors: white, ecru, and flax. Although I could find 4 or 5 places on the internet to order these curtains, no company, even brick-and-mortar ones, actually carried them in stock so that I could see the colors. Therefore I ordered one white and one ecru panel to find out. "White" is an ultra "bright" white, the white of untinted paint, definitely not a soft or antique white. The ecru is a soft, buttery yellow, not off-white. I didn't order a flax panel to see it "in person", but I gather it is something like a medium beige.
