environmentally friendly and long lasting odor removal
This thing is great. So it uses a new type of odor removal technology called CH-cut technology, and another good thing about it is the booklet that comes with it, gives you a full paragraph explaining this technology and how it works, as well as some info on the company, and ofc the technical features and other relevant info. (that it can last for 10 years, and to make it last longer/function better, leave it the sun for at least 2 hours about once per month.)So what makes this great...is that it can help reduce odors...but you don't have to replace baking soda when it dries out every so often...and you don't have to "re-charge" it like charcoal bags (although you can optionally do that to prolong the lifespan/functionality if you want.) So by default...you can just set it down somewhere, in your fridge, in a closet, or wherever...and it will just do its thing for a long long time. So easy....and it also looks nice to look at with the stainless steel finish so I considered leaving it in my bedroom somewhere, but as I inherited some smelly closets at this apartment...I will be putting it in there to deal with that. So I have been using a combination of baking soda, charcoal bags, de-humidifier, and a number of things...which have all been helping to keep the odor at bay so I don't smell it too much anymore. So these types of units are great, and so easy to use and long lasting...but I recommend using them in conjunction with other methods as well...if you have a very smelly situation you are trying to tackle. As just 1 of these units by themselves, while great...will not like completely solve all odor issues. But in conjunction with other means...it really helps, and is so convenient. Also is great for a fridge as that is small contained space where this would do really well. And as it is small and looks nice...you can conceivably put it in so many places...excellent.Bottom line: if you want one of the easiest, longest lasting, and environmentally friendly ways to combat odor...definitely get this. It's great.

For light jobs
It's attractive and it does the job for me. But I am also using it in a small fridge that is 4.5 cu.ft.I'll be honest, I think the product's claims are too bold when it advertises to be more effective than activated charcoal, which is the basis for the vast majority of filter products out there, from air purifiers to water filters to vacuum filters. And, activated charcoal is inexpensive and easy to reactivate in the sun.So while I do like this product, I think it really is only optimal in the niche I use it in. A smaller fridge, and something that is just pleasant to see in your fridge every once in a while. For pure function and a bigger fridge, I think activated charcoal may serve you better!

No effect at all!
When it was in my refrigerator for three days, I thought the effect of this thing would be great, but I was disappointed, there was no effect at all, only to be laughed at by my family!

No Odors!
The last couple times I used baking soda in cardboard, I had food containers leak and ruin the box and need replacing. I also love that this is a set and forget for literal years! We have had a spill and I was able to just wipe off the outside and toss it back in the refrigerator. I haven't had any issues with odors in the three months it's been living in our fridge. The other nice part about it is that it looks nice as well. I recommend this product.

It does the job for light needs
My refrigerator is a True and has a stainless-steel interior and glass and doesn't have plastic. Therefore, it is inherently not prone to smells. I have the deodorizer in my meat drawer which is where I store the sausages and Kielbasa which does tend to leach some smells. The deodorizer does its job in that area and the smells are not as prevalent when I open the drawer. So, I can say that it does its job. I have had it in there for a few months now and I haven't had to replace it yet.

looks nice, no set up req’d, appears to be working, a bit pricey
This is a review for the Namowell stainless steel fridge odor eliminator. The price was $26.99 when I ordered it.My title says it all. This is an attractive small stainless steel deodorizer device that requires no set up. Just take it out of the box and put it in the fridge. It has a small footprint, so it's easy to tuck away in a corner of the fridge out of sight. The listing says you can use it in other smelly areas besides the fridge, but I would think it would work best in small, enclosed spaces. As best I can tell, this is working as designed. It’s hard to know for sure since I haven’t used it very long yet. I didn’t have any noticeable odors in the fridge before inserting this, but I definitely haven’t noticed any since either. I also don’t detect any odor or aroma coming from the device itself, which is good. The only negative for me is the pricepoint. $27 seems a bit steep. But then again, it claims to last for 10 years. Comparing that to a standard 16 oz box of baking soda, and assuming those cost $1 each and that you switch them out every 3-6 months, that would result in a cost of $2-$4 per year multiplied by 10 years for a total cost of $20-$40 in baking soda expense over a comparable timeframe. I’ll try to report back in 10 years if it worked out that way. 😉

Looks nice, hope it works
I have always had a box of baking soda in my refrigerator to help keep the refrig smelling fresh. When I saw this device, I was intrigued. I loved the idea of this little thing in my refrigerator versus constantly replacing my baking soda. So far so good. Opened the box, popped it in my refrigerator and so far it appears to be working. It is very hard to truly gauge the effectiveness, but I have not noticed any smells so I am assuming we are good. I think this little device is much more attractive then a box of baking soda and it also seems more convenient and eco friendly in the long run.
