GIK Acoustics 700461538462 244 Bass Trap - Merrick

The panel does a great job in reducing noise reflections. I noticed an immediate improvement when listening to music. Unfortunately the first panel arrived damaged in 3 places. I returned it, and the 2nd also has damage in 3 places, but is less noticeable, so decided to keep it. The issue is probably due to them being packaged in a single layer of bubble wrap with no box.

Regretfully, I had to return this 244 panel, as it arrived quite badly damaged. Not only was the material torn on the corners, causing the wood frame to emerge through the material, but the wooden frame itself was warped under the covered fabric. It was also even more upsetting, as this was a replacement that was sent out-due to the wrong colour being sent out with my original order! It should have been Merrick dark grey (like the replacement) but instead I originally received a Maroon/red version (not what I ordered). Both had to be returned. Really disappointing and frustrating experience that was hugely inconvenient and this took more then three weeks to resolve from me taking delivery and arranging returns. Not the most pleasant experience unfortunately, so won’t be chancing another order of the panel!
