This portable stretcher is what you would expect and definately hope for being a professional First Aid item. Its packs down small and tidy and is definately a must have item for outdoor organisations and groups.

This ‘stretcher’ is essentially (what we call in the medical field) a carry sheet. A soft piece of thick material with reinforced handles, strong enough to hold the weight of a large adult. This one comes in a zipped storage bag and feels very strong made from a waterproof courdora material (similar to a thick outdoor furniture cover). It’s much bulkier than the ones we use on the ambulances, but this one is designed to be reusable, as opposed to our disposable ones! The 6 handles are covered in soft neoprene material which gives them some padding and makes them more comfortable to hold, especially when lifting a larger weight, and also has a couple of straps to secure the casualty into it. It is very ‘portable’ as per listing directions, and good job too… not much point in a stretcher if it isn’t portable! It’s perfect to pack for expeditions (though mindful of weight) or to have in sports club rooms/first aid rooms, should you need to move an injured person in an emergency situation. It has no rigid poles, so rescuers using this carry sheet should be aware that a casualty will not be immobilised and any movement may aggravate an injury, however, used as intended, this carry sheet is of excellent quality and very well designed.

We keep this is the car and hopefully will never have to use it. It is very portable and compact, and takes up no noticeable space in our small hatchback. It is made of a very strong material that is waterproof and tearproof. There are six handles, and ideally that is how many people you would use for a heavy adult. You can get away using just two for a small person or child, but it takes a lot of effort. There are two straps for securing the 'patient' and these work well. The build quality is very high, there is no bad finishing anywhere, everything is stitched strongly and even trying to damage it I wasnt able to. It feels comfortable to lay in even when being transported by two people. For the price of fifty pounds I will say this is a good buy and an excellent product.

Strong and sturdy easy to use. Item arrived very well packed, so excellent start, perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again 👍

I hope we never have to use this! We got it for my son's football team, in case of an accident during play. It's packaged well and seems strong and sturdy - capable of taking an adult as well as a child. it fits into a small zipped bag for ease of use. The handles attached to the stretcher seem to be strong, and there are clipped belts to hold the injured person in safely. Obviously if you are a first aider you will know that there are times when you must not move the injured person, but if you judge it safe to do so, this is a good piece of kit to keep handy.
