Glitter Poms 2" X 16-Piece Assorted

For some reason, my cat really loves these glitter ball-type toys, and is constantly carrying them around in his mouth. Until he dropped it into the toilet bowl. I wasn't about to fish it out, so, down it went. I went to several pet stores looking for these balls, and couldn't find them. So, I ended up purchasing these balls off of Amazon, and they're exactly like the ones "for cats". They're the perfect size for cats...not too big, not too small.

A couples years back I ordered 4 bags of these pom balls for one of my cats that loved playing with these things. She was addicted and the balls would always go MIA, hidden under furniture, or just go missing to be found much later on. Now one of my cats has found her old pom balls and taken to playing with it. He enjoys that ball so much that he drops it at my feet and meows for me to throw it for him. I figured maybe it is time to get another bag of pom balls so my sweet, old boy can play. So here we are on bag #5 and there probably are about 80 pom balls lost somewhere in my house, who knows there might be a black hole that sucks up cat toys in my washing room or something. Either way, my sweet, old boy will be very happy when he gets a brand new pom ball after playing with the old bald one from 2 years ago. If you're wondering the size of these balls, they are hard in the center but not enough to break a tooth, just firm material. The glitter parts do come off and stick to the rugs and carpeting. I haven't had problems with them bleeding colors after being dumped in the water bowl, they just get icky feeling and gross after being drowned in cat spit and the water bowl. 2 years ago I had a cat that would chew on these, til they were long instead of round. These poms not once ever became so small that he could swallow one but the 1.5" pom balls were so small that after chewing on them they became small enough to be dangerous. My old boy now doesn't chew on them, he just enjoys throwing them around and playing chase.

I purchased these for my cat - I had gotten a smaller version in a pack of cat toys but she kept losing it under and behind furniture. With the larger size, they no longer wind up under the furniture! She is in kitty heaven, and this is so much cheaper than continually buying packages of toys when all she wants is the one like this.

They do shed some tinsel, but the cats are crazy about chasing these things around. Highly recommended for indoor cats that need to burn some energy.

Wait a moment. I received six, not 16! They were very brilliant in color, but they seemed mashed. I took them out of the wrapping, and days later, they were still like that...not round. I bought these for my cat, who loves me to "flick" the balls, and she brings it back. She took one look at them and walked away. I have them in the box they came in. I thought she'd like a larger size. They are absolutely gorgeous in color...and not just on the tinsel like most others. You will love them for crafting. I'm not sure why my cat didn't even at least look them over. Has any other cat parent tried these yet?

The item arrived in timely fashion and in perfect condition. Unfortunately, Coco Chanel just had a passing interest in them, and before long she abandoned them altogether. I was left with 16 2" poms, oh yes, I think she hid one, so15 poms, and no where to utilize them. Previously, she had hidden all 12 of her 1" glitter poms, she loved them so much. We have never been able to find her hiding place. But, hey! I thought double the size would be double the fun for the little curmudgeon, but it definitely did not work out that way. Therefore, at first I felt I could not give the Kraft 2" glitter poms 5 stars due to this. All I thought I could give was possibly 4 stars. This didn't seem fair, however, and I should give 6 stars for the valiant effort this company made in trying to placate a picky customer. Okay, lets settle on the 5 star rating because the disappointed cat actually wasn't their problem.

These are my kitty's favorite toy. The pet store stopped carrying them so I searched for them. I tried another but were stiff with a chemical smell. Walter wouldn't play with those. These are very soft, bounce well, hold their shape and a hit with Walter! He hasn't wanted to play in a long time but is now bringing them to me several times a day to play. They do shed short strings so I just make sure to pull out any that are loose & pick up what's left around the house often. Thank you!!

I got these to use as cat toys because she loves to play with small tinsel-y balls. These looked perfect but in person are way too large for my cat to easily play with. They're too big for her to pick up in her mouth or hands. I guess for crafting these could be great, but not for kitty toys!

These are great toys for kitties. Less expensive than things marketed for cat-toys, and a size such that they don't easily get lost. Cats enjoy carting them around in their mouths, and batting and chasing them.
