Check your unit over carefully!
Unit makes pretty good ice (coming from a restaurant owner)! Hooked it up correctly and woke up the next morning to a room full of wet carpet, apparently there was a cap in the back near the water supply intake that was not screwed on all the way. Picture included.

Ice Maker not so great, check warranty fine print
Had the unit for six months most of which had a drip under the machine, later it was like a river flowing our of our garage. Because we turned the unit off we figured out it was an internal water leak so we turned the water off.We called the sell (Kart It) and the manufacturer, which is actually an importer from China (Sunpentown). The warranty requires the customer to crate the unit and send it for them to look at so that THEY can determine if in THEIR opinion they want to repair it under warranty. That cost could easily be another 20 to 30% the original investment in the defective machine. I understand how this slows down warranty work, but it does not give the protection I would expect from a good warranty. In my opinion it was a bad machine, with poor customer service after numerous attempts to contact them, and we have this customer costly warranty. It is not hard for me to make up my mind if I want to get another one.Thankfully, it makes me smarter to get more information up front about the warranty, when they called it a "limited warranty" they were not kidding!!
