In principle it should be possible to use it as a simple midi controller. You will only be able to use the keyboard, not other parts of the synth like the filter etc. (Possibly the arp and sequencer.) **Q: does this come with the cookbook for getting started ?** A: Yes it does. It is inside a big envelope. Very useful, especially in case it is your (analog) synth. **Q: Does this product come with patch cables?** A: It does come with 6 small, braided patch cables.
