There are a few reviews on here that reflect the abilities of the installer, not the product.The headband... There is a review that complains that the new lower pad is longer than the arch of the original. It's not. Just straighten / open up the metal part of the headband to make the arch bigger... it pops right in.There are reviews that comment of the neatness of the fabric tuck on the headband. Tip... stretch it as far down the headband as you can, hold it there then fit the fixing parts.It took me several patient attempts to get the final result. It's an excellent product, but requires time, patience and some skill to install, but definitely worth it.This isn't the first time I have installed Soulwit earpads on these headphones, but the first time rplacing the headband.The earpads hold up OK, but not as long as the originals.. but at this price who cares? The lasted a coupe of years at 10+ hours of use every single day.Couple this with the numerous battery replacement options out there and there's no compelling reason to replace your beloved headphones

These ear pads seemed a little tricky to install onto my partner's XM3s, but with a bit of pushing and pulling, they installed, and they look pretty good! Nice and comfortable. Guide is easy to follow.

I have used this brand of earcups before on my xm3s. Time to replace again as looking a little tatty now. Seems to last about 2 years of daily use fevore the costing starts to flake off.There is no noticeable difference between these and the OEM cups. They are easy to fit using the supplied tool - just pay attention to the location of the clip tabs.Haven't tried the headband yet, guessing this will be a bit harder to replace. Will update the review.

The earpad replacement was effortless and they look and feel as good as the originals, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for the headband.The old headband needs removing, and unlike the earpad removal, is a destructive process. This would have been fine if the replacement headband was well designed but it's not (see photo).The bottom half of the headband seemed to be too long, and wouldn't clip with the top half properly. In addition the left-over "leather" material wasn't sufficiently long enough to go under the covers (and I tried the replacement ones too). The end result is unprofessional and disappointing.I suspect most of the 5 star reviews here are from people who haven't bothered replacing the headband.I regret replacing the headband, as though the original was deterioriating, it still looked better than this.
