WiFi Room Thermometer Hygrometer 2Pack, Smart Indoor Humidity Sensor

Really pleased with this thermometer. It was quick to set up and connected to the app without any issues. The temperature and humidity readings seem accurate, and it's really handy being able to check them remotely. Great for keeping an eye on room conditions, and the graphs in the app are a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend.

This is a really good product and has been very useful for monitoring both moisture and temperature in my shed. I keep a lot of tools and electrical equipment in there, so being able to track conditions properly gives real peace of mind. The readings seem accurate and update quickly. Super easy to setup in their app and all the data at your finger tips including yearly. The WiFi and app features make it especially useful. Being able to check the shed remotely and see historical data is fantastic, and alerts are handy if humidity or temperature moves outside safe levels. The device itself feels well made and discreet. It’s not the cheapest option, but the quality and smart functionality make it very good value for money. A great solution if you want reliable remote monitoring for sheds, garages or storage spaces.

Sorks very well and seems to be accurate. Very easy to set up and WiFi connects very well even outside in my shed/workshop the only issue is when trying to load the history it seems to take a very long time (few minutes) to transfer the data to the app. I have been using it for 7 months now and the batteries are still showing 100% so I would guess they should last a couple years at least but will have to see how they hold up through the cold months. The only thing I do wish it had was a little screen so I could have a quick glance at the temp.

Great product! Have yet to see for how long the sensors will survive in the environment I am using them in: a build site which is not heated yet (in the Balkans) but which is protected from the elements. One sensor is mounted inside the rack where I have some live electrical equipment (CCTV NVRs, Wireless router, POE power injector etc), while the other sensor lives outside the rack and measures the ambient air values in the room where the rack is mounted. Love the fact that the temp sensor can be manually calibrated (have not yet been to a calibrated weather station to calibrate my sensors but will do that soon). Worth mentioning that when I unboxed both govee sensor and left them to acclimatize for about 2 hrs, they displayed temperature differences of about 1.1⁰C. I have then averaged out this difference by reducing the temperature reading on one sensor by 0.6⁰C while manually increasing/adjusting the temperature on the other sensor by 0.5⁰C. One aspect I wish I had paid more attention to prior making this purchase is the fact that this specific hardware model (based off of my post purchase further research) does not support setting custom temperature thresholds/alams. This is one of the functionalities I wish I had. Hardware I use is: Govee H5179 (2x pack). Price at time of purchase was: £33.98 (on 14th Dec 2025). Device feels heavy as takes 3x AA batteries (all batteries were included in the pack). App is nice and intuitive. Firmware updates are easy. Remote connection is simple via Govee app. Have found that the measured values refresh rate (10min/30min/1hr) can only be set when you're on site and connect to the device via Bluetooth (can not be adjusted remotely via internet). Love the "Multi-device data comparison" function within the app (only works when you have two or more govee devices adopted in the app). Hope this helps whoever considers making this purchase.

Works very well. We travel the world full-time which means we have lots of different refrigerators over the course of a year. This let's us make sure they're operating in a safe range of temperatures no matter where we are. Being able to check via Bluetooth and WiFi makes everything easier.

Took some time to connect to WiFi, but with lots of help from Mandy at customer services finally got it connected. Now its up and running definitely value for money. Perfect for us to monitor our boat for temperature and humidity, as home is 300 miles from Marina.

UPDATE2: Last night my last Govee stopped working. Let's see. Customer services reached out to me but are asking me to provide videos of the units simply flashing or not whuch I will supply them, but not quite sure what that will show as the do not send any information to the app. They seem to repeat themselves through emails which doesn't instill hope of anything coming from this. These are not fit for purpose, at least they haven't been for me. I will update if the company offers me units that actually work. £160+ now wasted. UPDATE1: 7 OUT OF THE 8 BOUGHT OVER THE LAST 12 MONTHS HAVE STOPPED WORKING AND ARE NOW FAULTY. THE REMAINING 1 IS SENDING ME BACK COMPLETELY INACCURATE TEMPERATUES AND HUMIDITY READING EHRN CROSSED CHECMED WITH 2 OF MY HAND HELD TEMPERATURE MONITORS. THESE ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. A VERY EXPENSIVE LOSS. Unfortunately I bought 8 of these and they are quickly becoming faulty and inconsistent. Two of the new ones I bought recently literally don't work from the get go and won't even register with the wifi even though the status shows that they have. Brand new devices and now useless. Out of the 8 bought 3 or 4 are still working just about but the other 4 or 5 are worthless. Double checked them with a hand gun digotal thermometer and they are al faulty. One shows 115F and two other thermometers show 82F. I will now have to find a better more reliable brand if these is one. Very disappointed.
