Excellent package of jewelers sawblades
These jewelers saw blades are a must for cutting inlay and detailed work. The fine blades leave a saw kurf barely larger than a hair. They are delicate and break easily, but can last if your cutting technique doesn't put too much pressure on the blade. In the jewelers saw, it should be tightened enough that it sings a little when plucked. These tiny blades will even cut steel if you proceed slowly. The count on the pack I got says 144. I haven't counted each one but I believe there are 144 blades. Good product, excellent price. Even when I break one, I adjust my saw frame short enough to accept the broken blade and continue to use it.

Great blades for the hobiest or professional jeweler, watchmaker, clockmaker or model maker.
A very good set of economy saw blades for jewelers saws. I've been using them for a few months and have yet to break a blade. Of course, it helps if you know how to mount and use these blades. For the price, this was an excellent buy! I will most certainly order again when the need arises. I keep the plastic envelope in my clockmakers housecall "go box". Very strong, sharp, and flexible! A+ grade stock. These would also be good for the wooden, metal, or even plastic model maker when paired with an adjustable saw frame such as this. http://www.amazon.com/SE-Professional-Quality-Jewelers-Frame/dp/B000RB0KHK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422983049&sr=8-1&keywords=jewelers+saw&pebp=1422983051106&peasin=B000RB0KHK I would suggest practicing with scrap materials if you have never used this type of saw/blade before. There's a certain feel to it. But well worth the learning.

I purchased these for making very fine and precise cuts in plastic and hard brass (using the 6" saw frame also purchased here.) I have only just tested them in this service, but they performed just fine. They even cut mild steel no problem (though dulling faster, I'm sure.) I didn't see the rust -- or experience the breakage -- that others have. Certainly they're somewhat brittle, being hardened steel (and I'm sure the temper varies given their low cost), but properly chucked up straight, and used straight, I think they'll last okay. They do have some residue -- likely just cutting oil and grindings that easily wipe off with your finger. Now the downsides, if you will: I miked every blade with a high precision mic, and the stock thicknesses vary wildly. I simply sorted them by thickness range, some of the ranges nearly overlapping, since my main concern is kerf width (the kerfs being wider than the stock thickness due to tooth offset.) In addition, different thicknesses are mixed within the bundles -- so if you care about kerf width, have your mic ready. The tooth counts also vary widely within a thickness group. The thinner blades are mostly 50-60 TPI (mixed.) I didn't find any 66 TPIs on the thinnest ones (4/0.) The 1s and 2s are mid-forties to about 50. The teeth range from dull to sharp under magnification -- but, as mentioned above, perform fine. Had I only received ten blades for this money, I would be squealing over inconsistency and general quality. Having received so many (I didn't actually count 'em, but there are a lot), this will work out fine for me.

You can't go wrong given the price and quality
I was very pleased with the assortment of blade thickness found in this variety package of saw blades. They are a standard size for jewelers saws as advertised and unlike some of the reviews I have seen there was no rust to be found. The wide range of sizes means that I have the correct saw blades for whatever thickness of jewelry metal I am cutting and I like to keep a few inexpensive saw frames around so that I can have a variety of blade sizes readily available without having to change blades as often and this inexpensive assortment allows me that luxury. As far as premature breakage I haven't had a problem once I perfected my sawing technique. If you saw improperly you are going to break blades even if they are expensive Swiss blades but they don't break often now that I am using my jewelers saw correctly and making certain to keep the blade lubricated with bees wax. They cut as straight and true as your saw frame and skill level allows.

Bad and dangerous blades
Bad blades. Most are bent and some don't have any teeth at all. Others are very dull or dull fast. They snap very easily and one shot into my finger when it broke, causing a huge injury. Not worth it.

Aún no las usé, pero el estuche donde vienen, en donde cada bolsillo tiene el número de la sierra que allí contiene es muy práctico.

The saw frames appears to be very good quality and the blades, although not the best quality, still seem to cut well enough... definitely good value for the price, so I'm giving them 5 stars

Described as an assorted 4/0 to 1 set, received 2/0 set only. Plus a different manufacturer.

Worked great for the price they are a good set to start practicing with. Using the right blade for what you are cutting is important I found the range of blade sizes were limited for the materials is was working with.
