Having owned Pure radios for years now I am amazed at how they get better with every new model. The H4 is so easy to set up and the bass from its little speaker is just fab. Love the look of it and the size makes it great for use in the kitchen. Price was also good. Highly recommend this radio.

Nice looking, compact but solid, easy to use, decent sound quality. Bass was a bit boomy out of the box, but setting EQ to Normal fixed that. My main criticism is the display is too small to see what's playing from a distance, and I'd need glasses close up. Also I don't like power supplies with interchangeable pins, that seems a cost reduction too far. I'd rather have a larger display and drop the features I don't need, namely: aux input, USB input, FM, telescopic antenna (a stubby fixed one would do for DAB-only). That said, it's a very nice radio and I'd consider getting another for a bedroom, as it has an alarm function.

Very easy to set up, almost just plug and go, good quality sound and a great variety of stations and modes to choose. Some reviews said it was quite plastic looking but I don't agree, I think the retro style is really nice and it is a nice weight and looks to be constructed well. I haven't used the Bluetooth or alarm yet but the clock set up automatically. It is compact but not tiny, a great size for my kitchen. Would definitely recommend

Absolutely wonderful pure radio for my kitchen, it looks the part and delivers with a punch, crystal clear and just what I wanted. I got a black Friday deal and it's certainly excellent value. You can preset so many radio stations too.

Easy to use, nice bass and volume. Was a reduced item but works perfectly, very pleased.

We got this as we were looking for a new radio for the kitchen that received DAB+. Our old DAB radio didn't get these stations. This is an excellent little radio, and works perfectly well in our kitchen. The tone is better than our old Pure "Evoke" radio, being a little deeper and better balanced. There are 3 eq (tone settings) and it's easy to find one that suits depending on where the radio is sat. If it's up against a wall, or in a corner the bass is boosted slightly. What's impressive is that as soon as you switch it on, it goes off and loads up all the stations (115 where we are), then you set your favourites just by pressing one of the memory buttons. We haven't needed to open the instructions at all. Very pleased.

This radio has steadily developed a fault whereby it keeps losing all stations and also has interference. As this has developed progressively it would appear that the returns window is now closed, meaning that I have spent £89 on something that I cannot use!

All'interno della confezione è comunque presente una guida rapida in più lingue, compreso l'italiano. La connettività Bluetooth 5.3 integrata consente di collegare facilmente uno smartphone o un tablet per ascoltare podcast e playlist personali. Dispone anche di una porta AUX per dispositivi cablati. Sia il sintonizzatore FM che quello DAB offrono una buona sensibilità, assicurando una ricezione chiara e stabile (meglio però estendere completamente l'antenna). È possibile memorizzare fino a 40 stazioni preferite per un accesso rapido. La qualità audio, grazie all’altoparlante da 10W, è molto buona considerando le dimensioni compatte della radio. Il suono è pieno e ben bilanciato, anche se la timbrica è un po' particolare. Sono anche presenti alcune funzioni aggiuntive, come il timer da cucina, l’allarme e il timer di spegnimento, che la rendono ideale per l’uso quotidiano, in particolare in cucina. In sintesi, consigliata!

Très content de mon achat. Cette radio fonctionne seulement en alimentation electrique sans batteries ce que je voulais. J'avais une crainte en cas de coupure d'électricité si elle allait garder en mémoire les stations enregistrées, a ma surprise même après 3 jours tout est encore là. Le son est agréable, le réglage est intuitif, je l'ai programmé sans regarder la notice, je n'utilise pas l'option cuisine (alarme et / ou minuterie). Je ne regrette pas mon achat.

Buen sonido y buen diseño. La única pega que le pongo es que no tiene posibilidad de poner pilas así que si no hay luz, no hay radio.

I bought the Pure Classic H4 DAB+ radio and after three weeks of testing I’m honestly very impressed. The radio is smaller than I expected, but also heavier than I thought – and for me that’s actually a big plus. The size and weight make it feel more solid and premium, and now that I’ve used it for a while, I actually prefer it this way. One thing I really like is that this is not an internet radio. It simply turns on, scans all DAB stations from the start, and you don’t need to type or set up anything. Reception is very good and stable. During my testing, the radio froze twice – no sound, although the display was still updating. The only fix was disconnecting it completely from 230V power. Apart from these two incidents, I haven’t experienced any other issues. What originally made me hesitate were the many extra buttons. Most of the buttons on the left side feel unnecessary, and only the dedicated Bluetooth button is truly useful. It would be much better if those buttons were programmable or if each one simply selected a source (Bluetooth, FM, DAB+). That would make far more sense. Another small downside: the radio is light enough and the main knob is stiff enough that when you press the knob to confirm a station, the whole radio moves. You basically need to place it against a wall or something solid so it doesn’t slide when you press the button. But in the end, I’m extremely satisfied with the sound quality, volume, display, UI, and overall performance. The size is perfect, the sound is excellent, and despite a few quirks, I think this is one of the best DAB+ radios you can buy in this price range. 100% recommended – I honestly don’t think you’ll find a better one.
