Outstanding Audio Furniture
The narrowest audio furniture available. More on that later.I was expecting something flimsy, you know, like the typical build-it-yourself pressboard furniture from your big box & Swedish stores. This furniture is made of pressboard, but it differs from those typical offerings in several ways. Firstly, the boards are quite a bit more substantial, thicker, & heavier than what you might expect from this sort of furniture. It is actually quite thoughtfully designed, both in construction & function. It assembles fast and looks good. The 3 shelves are adjustable (each having 3 positions available). Now about that narrowness: I have standard sized, largish audio gear. It's the width that you can rack-mount, so slightly over 17" wide to fit in a 19" rack. Plus my gear is deep and heavy. BUT I had a very narrow space I needed to put it in. Basically a 19" rack could fit there, but nothing wider than that. 24", even 21" was too wide. This furniture is large enough to accomodate the audio gear, yet doesn't waste any space, essentially being as wide as a 19" rack. It is also deep enough to accommodate my equipment. Now about the weight: the top shelf is rated for 75 lbs. The shelves are rated for 25 lbs, and the bottom is not rated. The manufacturer is being conservative in their supported weights. The shelves will easily accommodate more than 25 lbs each. They include a strange locking disk that I haven't quite worked out yet, but seems to add sturdiness to the setup. This audio shelving unit is indeed exactly what I was looking for. Highly functional, slim, and good looking. Plus, it is much cheaper than the equivalent 19" rack with shelves.

A really nice turntable/record player solution, amongst other audio needs
I really like this audio tower and for me, it served as a great little turntable/record player stand. I had been researching a bit for a stand and some that were dubbed as a "turntable" or "record player" stand either lacked the capacity to hold items or were just way too overpriced. Based on the reviews I saw here and the images, I felt I had found exactly what I was looking for. The shelves are adjustable enough to accommodate two rows of records very easily and with the side openings you can really have some fun with the placement or storing your records. For me this allowed me to place my turntable on top and tuck my phono pre-amp in the rear. Should you plan on putting a receiver on the shelves, then you may be limited to one row of records (I didn't try and receivers can vary in height). The depth of the shelves are very nice and feel it can work with wiring very nicely, even for heavily gauged HDMI. I found the stand to be sturdy and have good weight for stability. It doesn't rock or move as you walk by and there is no skipping. For added support, it does include a tether for securing to the wall. I like the oversized top shelf in case I was to clip on a turntable light, or merely place a coaster on there for my beverage as I pick out my next record and set it up. I too was sold by the picture and the finish was not far off at all as other mentioned. I went with the brown to be specific. The packaging was safe and secure, no blemishes/scratches/dings/dents. The lettered labels to distinguish the pieces for assembly peel off without residue (hate it when that happens), and the instructions were straightforward. It recommends two people to assemble but I did it myself and there was no cause for concern with any of the planks flapping down and allowing for the screw to break through. It really was that sturdy for you to maneuver on your own until you finished the main structural supports. Assembly was easy with no missing parts. To move it into place...of course, grab a friend. The unit was also very dust free as a lot of these assemble yourself items leave "crumbs" from the particle board, as I like to call it, leaving you scared to even look at even let alone move/slide it. Not this unit. It was clean and held together great. It comes with an Allen wrench and all you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and you are good to go. Two critiques:1. My unit did not have wheels (which is the unit I chose), but the "feet" which consisted of a ~2 x 2 piece of black painted wood had the holes for assembly slightly offset. Do what I did, align them up (all four) for a perfect line through them...then place and fasten accordingly to the bottom of the stand. I'm big on symmetry, so that made for them being of equal distance from all sides. One piece of advice, I would have countersunk the screw a bit at the factory and enlarge the felt pad that gets placed over the screw (minor details as you can countersink it yourself if needed)2. The edges are very square, meaning the oversized top could provide a hazard to small children should they be running around near this unit. Just a word of caution :)Overall a very nice find, a good bang for your buck, and has a very nostalgic look and feel. I recommend it and am considering another for the house

Very versatile component cabinet!
This review is being done one day post assembly. Overall, I really like this cabinet and my 1970s and 1980s stereo components (yes - includes an 8-track and cassette player) look great!Pros:1. Has enough shelves (including the bottom and top plate) to house 5 components. Nice!!2. Shelves are deep enough to accommodate larger components. Check the measurement description carefully. The top plate and bottom plate extend out about 2 inches further than the shelves. Gives it a nice look and the extra space worked great for my receiver on the bottom and turntable on the top.3. The cabinet has a large open space on each side for ventilation and to help maneuver cords, etc. when setting up your components. Make sure you like the look of the open sides as it is about 1/2 of the width of the sides - very open.4. There is a narrower open slot running all the way down the back for cords, cables, etc.5. Assembly is very easy. Less than 1 hour to unpack and put together. Instructions are accurate and clear. All holes lined up.6. This cabinet is only 32 inches tall. It's just the right height for my smaller office and fits nicely under the chair rail on the wall. Looks good.7. The cabinet with the components in it is very sturdy. The value is great for the look and functionality that you get. I rated 4 stars but could easily talk myself into 5 stars.Cons: Just a few picky ones.1. The laminate appears to be a bit thin and brittle. Extra care needed for assembly. Be careful sliding your components across the shelves to avoid scratches and marks.2. I had to do a few, very minor touch ups with a black marker. Blended well. Not noticeable.3. Clean the cabinet and shelves with a mild cleaner as it shows fingerprints.

Sturdy and Easy to Assemble
This cabinet is well priced, sturdy and easy to assemble. Middle shelves are adjustable and give plenty of space for component placement. Very happy with my purchase.

Perfect and made in Canada!
This Nexera stand is exactly what I was looking for to put my vintage audio equipment in. I was worried because my Marantz receiver is rather heavy but now that I have the stand and see how it’s made, I know it can handle it. Just a heads up though, to those who have vintage Marantz equipment with the optional wood case. They don’t fit, just a bit too wide, so you have to remove the wood case and you’re good to go. No biggie. The packaging was really good and did the job in preventing shipping damage. Assembly was a breeze with well written instructions. I used the provided caster wheels which made it easier to route the wires then roll it back in place. The stand is well designed and all the pieces fit together perfectly. At this price point it’s hard to beat and I highly recommend it especially if you have a vintage audio setup. It just seems to match the old school theme and looks great. Happily, it’s made in Canada to boot. See, we still can make great things like we used to years ago!

Great product
Exactly the right size for our multi cd player. Packaging was amazing because it was protected all around, even wrapped in plastic. Took my husband no time to assemble.

So good, I bought 2!
Made in North America quality. Well built and great adjustments to shelf spaces. Top shelf is rated to 75lbs and my amp is 65lbs. Super sturdy. This is a fantastic audio component stacker for the price. Perfect amount of open space in the back and sides to plug in all the cables, and hides them well. Expect to pay double for something this good elsewhere.

A surprisingly impressive product.
This cabinet deserves a design award for elegant simplicity. Assembly and usage are easy. It is strong and easy to look at. Although not for doors and drawers lovers, it offers extremely versatile shelving options for just about anything you could want to shelve in a cabinet this size, and even be able to get at from inside, without removing it. It is not restricted to audio or multimedia devices. For example, the top has plenty of room for something like a large printer, and is at the right height. In itself, the cabinet is quite heavy, but manageable. However, I wished to be able to move it around easily and frequently. Consequently, I replaced the feet with wheels. Again, this was very easy to do, because of the way the cabinet is designed. For normal installation, this is certainly unnecessary, and the cabinet looks just fine with the feet provided. The feet, of coarse, install very easily.I like it.
