As a mechanic, I've fitted a few of these. The key is connecting the permanent live wire correctly so it retains memory. Once done properly, it's been flawless in my van for 4 months—no connection drops or screen freezes. The wireless CarPlay is genuinely convenient. A solid purchase.

Wouldn’t waste your money doesn’t save any settings refuses to connect to Bluetooth and when it does and your driving screen glitches out and then keeps lagging onto reverse camera screen! AVOID!!!!

The camera setup instructions are wrong . Took me a while to figure out how to make it work. CarPlay doesn’t work in the same time with the radio.

Fitted this myself to my older car. It's been completely reliable for daily use over three months. Connects to my Android phone instantly. For the money, it's blindingly good value and just works.

Okay so I absolutely love this CarPlay stereo. The quality of the sound is so much more better then the other Hikity CarPlay stereo I had before this. The screen is beautiful and just the right size, the screen is very responsive, the settings are simple and easy to understand the remote control is cute and good to use. However I would have given this 5 stars but after the 2nd day of having it it wouldn’t connect to my phone like it usually does as soon as I turn the car engine on, it would only play radio and I had to turn the engine off and on again two times for it to come on to then go a black screen (which was very worrying) turned the car engine off and on again one more time and it connected straight away. It has done this two times now and makes me nervous as I need my stereo and my music it’s very important to me when I drive! Hopefully it won’t happen again so fingers crossed. But I am happy otherwise just nervous everytime I turn the engine on. But for the price it’s a great stereo I’m so happy I purchased it. UPDATED!!!! Car stereo is now faulty! Last three pics are stereo frozen! The screen freezes with volume stuck! Connecting screen gets stuck, touchscreen doesn’t work and turning car off the stereo stays on a frozen screen. Not happy at all. Fed up of all these Hikity stereos. Do not recommend.

Brilliant little unit that’s transformed my older car. Wireless CarPlay works a treat, connecting instantly. The screen is surprisingly crisp and responsive. The included reverse camera makes parking much easier, and the single DIN fit was straightforward. Sound quality is excellent, and all the features work perfectly. An absolute bargain – highly recommended
