Exact fit for my Ruud furnace
This is exactly as described and the correct part for my decades old Ruud furnace, #62-22868-93. It arrived carefully packaged in a foam block within a cardboard box. The silicon carbide is extremely fragile and the first one received had broken into multiple pieces. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement right away. Excellent customer service.

Exact replacement
This SHINESTAR 62-22868-93 Furnace Igniter Replacement is exactly that. Dropped right into place and needed no adjustment to the bracket. If you have not replaced an igniter before it would be good to watch some instructional videos. The main thing is they do not tolerate contamination well at all. Ever change a HID headlight? Use the same precautions when you change this unit. Gloves is a good start.
