*EDIT* it quit working the next day. Returned.First off, the screen isn't going to look photo quality, the e-ink is 4 colors so keeping that in mind, it actually does pretty good. I would say it looks similar to the way the ink looks in a color newspaper. Is it a gimmick? yes. But that's why I wanted it. I get bored with my phone cases and this way I can change up the look a little bit.Just an FYI if you buy it, if the screen glitches while it is transferring just clear your cache and turn on airplane mode and then wait a few seconds and turn it back off. It should work perfectly again. It has only glitched on me once, and I have been messing around with it a ton probably changed 100 pictures.If you are like me, and you get tired of the same old cases, buy this :)

This case really did not work for me. I tried it on 3 separate occasions until I finally gave up. The one time I was able to get a picture to come up, the quality was horrible and I had to shine a flashlight on it to see the screen. And yes, I tried adjusting the brightness, etc. with no luck at all. Great idea, bad execution. 😡

All of the bad reviews are in my opinion not true, it works as advertised. Fits true to size and is a pretty solid and thick case. It’s as easy as downloading the app. I say it’s a unique case and worth your money.

I was excited about the idea of having a smart ink screen on the back of my phone case, but this product did not live up to my expectations. The screen on the back of the case is small and of very low quality. It displays pictures with poor resolution, making them look pixelated and unclear.The concept is great, but the execution is far from good. I was hoping for a crisp and clear display, but instead, the images are barely recognizable. If you’re looking for a smart ink phone case with a decent screen, I would recommend looking elsewhere. This product does not deliver on its promise.

This is an interesting phone case, that actually works. You can upload the image you like, and while the quality and colors won't be as vibrant as a real screen, you get a pretty impressive copy that you can proudly display on your case. The technology is interesting, and impressive honestly. I did not like you have to log into your Google or Apple account to register on the app to use this. Making an account is enough hassle, offering things like passwords feels bad. And the app seems to stop working sometimes, not letting images upload and update unless you try again later. All that said, this is a cool case, and a practical one too. It feels durable and fits well on the iPhone. If you want to have a customized case, this is a cool option to have and you can change it whenever you like.
