This product is incredibly sturdy and a huge hit for my girls! It will last for years and years! It does need to be assembled but it is incredibly easy with instructions. It comes with the screws, nuts, and washers you need and also the proper tool. At first i thought we were shorted lots and lots of screws, but i then realized that they were already in the parts that they belonged to on each piece of the desk and chair! The only thing that needs an extra tool is the last step of the blue screws into the chair. It requires a phillip's head screwdriver. That's a very common tool to have on hand though. But just a heads up! Absolutely love these desks and for the price?! I can't imagine the ones that were twice this cost were any better.
